Who's the squid guy? Is he a unannounced Sensei? Or is he one of the "Skylanders-in-training" at Skylanders Academy?

He doesn't have a belt, so I think he's a skylander in training.

Is he/she possibly a leaf person from which game was it swap force?

I checked the Gumblebums, they're a loooot more deformed. This looks like some bad disguise.

I think he might be a side character. Like maybe an employee at the academy. Hard to tell since this is the only screenshot we have him in.

He instantly reminded me of the Gumblebums in Swap Force.

I have a feel that he's a employee that will be used for some kind of joke. For example, Kaos attacks the Academy and the Skylanders do these poses to start fighting, and he's just working and he decided to pose together. Really feels like a joke they would make.
