I found the song Port of Mystery by Yanni through a strangely depressing instructional video for properly disposing of animatronics.

I didn't start liking Panic! At the Disco until my ex started playing it on the night we broke up.

I discovered vaporwave through this video:



And now it has consumed my life

Also, one of my friends showed me the music video for "Fatty Boom Boom" by Die Antwoord and thought it was weird but now I unironically love the group and Ninja's older stuff as Max Normal as well

In 6th grade Music class, we had to find a song that tells a story. So being me, I googled "songs that tell a story." The two songs I remember and liked were Brick by Boring Brick by Paramore and Cassie by Flyleaf. After listening to Brick by Boring Brick, my life spirrled out of control and now I'm really into Paramore.
I wouldn't say this one was too weird, but I was randomly clicking some nightcore videos and came across Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez. I liked it so I listened to some of her other songs and here we are now.

Nothing extremely odd, but...

I found a few songs by YouTubers using them as outros, the most notable being Corpsepuncher, which is The Fragnostic's outro music that he composed (and I found him on a Steam review).
I was introduced to Warmness on the Soul (Instrumental) - Avenged Sevenfold when a girl in my choir class played it in middle school and tried to sing to it.
Electric Halo - Kyng was in an article I read called "Top 10 Underrated Rock Songs of 2014" or something like that. T'was the only one I liked...
A trailer for the movie Autumn Moon introduced me to The End of Time - Moonbow when it was played in the credits (the movie was supposed to be out in 2014 but it's still not out :'( ).
I found Brainbite - MisterMonkeyman, Above The Clouds - DJ Bjra, Alien - xKore, and Sweet Cold Revenge - Coredx***** because they're in the Henry Stickman games that I watched Markiplier and Jacksepticeye play. SCR is the best.
I found Monstercat and all of its amazing artists (Pegboard Nerds, Rogue, Stephen Walking, Stonebank, Tristam, Tut Tut Child, Case & Point, etc.) from a link to Till It's Over - Tristam in a friend's Guestbook here.
I found Teminite either because someone in the comments section of a YT video said Firepower was a good song or because it was in one of those hour long complications of EDM music.
An American Dad episode showed me Carol of the Bells - August Burns Red... Makes for a great, loud ringtone...
I found Dominator and Dragon Fire because they were used in a Steam game called Fly in the House, which I watched Jacksepticeye play.
My friend's dad introduced me to Horses in Heaven - Terry Fator when my friend showed me Fator's movie and he played it after we watched the movie. He showed me Witchy Women - Eagles too, when he played it in the car.
The Monster Squad introduced me to Rock Until You Drop - Michael Sembello, and it's gold.
Oh yeah, and I think I was introduced to Breaking Benjamin because a guy requested the teacher play a BB song (Hopeless, I think) during homeroom in sixth grade.

Vargskelethor started playing this song in a stream while a Rollercoaster (He was playing Rollercoaster Tycoon) called "Made in China" was derailing itself repeatedly. This was 30 minutes after he talked about how oriental was a racist term.

Talked about how I played Battlefield. Friend showed me vid. Throw in dying when ever I encounter any real enemies, and that would be accurate.
