Pyren Spitzer has always been an interesting child. He’s always believed in the supernatural, the weird things. He one day passes out, sending him to the District of 2034- a nuclear bombing test ground, where mutated, anthropomorphic animals and other odd monsters live. Pyren winds up falling first into the prison of Arakore- a mayan god/dragon demon that was banished to the district from his own dimension. He has a nice little chat and stays the night before Pyren leaves Arakore’s cell. Arakore is enraged by this, wanting Pyren to be his “human representative” so he can invade and conquer earth. Arakore lashes out, and Pyren grabs a random stick to protect himself. Arakore accidentally uses his demon magic bullets to make this stick a dual-tipped fire spear, instead of killing Pyren. Pyren gains elemental powers from this spear, and escapes the prison of Arakore. Pyren makes his way to a small town- Barneby. He is accidentally run over by a car- and taken into the large Gibson Manor.

It is revealed that Pyren is okay. Francis Montgomery “Moe” Gibson had taken care of Pyren. Moe is a white, anthro wolf- with yellow eyes and a nervous personality. He is revealed to be the only child of Wolfgang Gibson- a powerful politician, who has little time for his family. Moe does not enjoy his house life- he wants to live with a close friend, Bailey Herdsberg. (who he totally has a crush on.) Pyren and Moe sneak out and go to live there. They make it- at 1AM, albeit. Bailey is an anthro sheep- she wears big, round glasses and a pink beret. Her and Moe have been friends for a long time. The Herdsberg family lets them stay. Pyren tells them about his encounter with Arakore. Moe and Bailey recognize the other-worldly demon- he drains the radiation from the district, causing disease and death. The 3 make a pact to find anybody who knows anything about him, so they can stop him from draining radiation.

The next day, they find the first person who has a lead on Arakore- Manglerfish Baitson, and old school bully. Manglerfish is a large anglerfish man, with a cartoony look. It is revealed him and two others know of Arakore’s plans. Bailey confronts Manglerfish, and is turned in. At the police station, they meet Leatherback (a large, gorilla/turtle hybrid who leads the police) and Tiffany Boanna (a normal snake, who is also a weeaboo/lesbian/summer intern) that agree to join them, only if they bring a former criminal in the process of rehab with them, Ardenne Foxtrotte. (A anthro fox with Ice powers on the elemental spectrum.) Seeing as Pyren is on the fire part of the elemental spectrum, and Ardenne is ice- they don’t get along. Ardenne knows that a big pop star in the city of New Atommus, Broadway the skeleton, is knowing of Arakore. She leads them to him.

Broadway, a skeletal 50’s pop star, owns the popular club “The Rave Yard”. He welcomes in the six people, and treats them as V.I.Ps. He begins to hit on Bailey, and Moe eventually tells Broadway off. Broadway then gets pissed, and summons his bodyguard drum monster, Drummerboy. Ardenne and Pyren actually manage to work together to stop Drummerboy. They manage to get information about the last of Arakore’s lackies- Iron Maiden - out of Broadway before he’s arrested for trying to kill people. Drummerboy is given a second chance, though. They make their way to the industrial Copper Valley, to confront Iron Maiden.

Iron Maiden, a robotic woman who owns most of the property in Copper Valley, doesn’t pull the same hospitality as Broadway- she gets right to the fighting. She pulls out two pistols, and summons MECHANICAL BEES. (because bees are hip ) Leatherback is severely injured in the fight, whereas Tiffany manages to do more than be an intern- and rips out Maiden’s hard drive. They go through the information, to find out that Arakore is planning a “mega-drain” in 5 days. They prepare to take on Arakore by themselves.

In this 5 day period of time, Tiffany and Ardenne hook up, Pyren sleeps in a closet, Leatherback passes away, and Moe finally asks Bailey out. When Arakore shows up, Bailey has evacuated the city already. She refuses to fight him- instead, asking him to change his ways. Arakore then proceeds to attack.. But it doesn’t hurt her. Bailey then says that she does not want the discrimination and hatred of the mutants to continue- she wants peace. Arakore keeps trying to attack, but he.. Can’t. He seemed to be paralyzed.. By hope. Arakore slowly fades away, but not before lowering a magical barrier that held the beings in for years.

Everything is good after that. Pyren comes out of the closet (in more ways than one), Moe and Bailey FINALLY HOOK UP, and Ardenne and Tiffany totally aren’t making out behind that building over there. Seeing as Arakore was like a mayor to them- pyren takes his place as a mayor of district 2034.
