It's actually quite a reasonable price when you consider that a console is basically a miniature computer. I want a new Playstation, but I'm waiting for the PS4.5 to come out.

Also, get a used one |

If you have criminal record, which I'm not sure if it is, they have every right to turn you down. It's called a background check. It's completely legal.

Apparently some guy that looked like me stole 100$ worth of items at CVS and when I walked in one day they accused me of being the guy and got in legal trouble. I didn't go to jail but I have a mark on my record, I am not allowed to shop at that CVS.

...Which, yeah, they're allowed to turn you down for this. Especially if money is involved, the best I can do for you is too look into how to get a job with a mark on your record. I'm assuming they had a warrent out for your arrest and you might have been arrested? You don't have to say if it's too personal.

Alright, I understand.
I'd still look into getting a job with a mark on your personal record.

Keep trying, someone is bound to hire you. Whatever job you land will make getting others much easier as you establish a history of trust.

Since you can't find employment to earn money it's Summer time. People need their lawns taken care of, their grass needs cut, trim bushes. Sometimes the elderly need assistance to go shopping for groceries or go to the Doctors, most do pay well so that's another option for you. There are ways to earn money without being employed.

It probably doesn't apply to most people if they're not in good financial conditions to begin with, but always look through stuff you have stashed away that can be sold. Back when I was saving up for the WiiU, aside from duplicate Skylanders figures, I found some trinkets and popular books I had long forgotten about that helped out a lot.
I can't even get a job because of crazy uni times changing every 6 months, so selling is all I've got. Wish someone would take digital art commissions but aside from friends and my brother nobody's showed up :C Paypal didn't make it any easier either.

Is there anything you can do about the "criminal record", such as prove your identity?
Even if you get a job later on I'd really suggest dealing with that so it doesn't haunt you in the future. Additionally are there any programs available that help youth find summer jobs? |

wtf did you not go to court? they can't charge you with a crime without sufficient enough evidence. Did you not have an alibi or the ability to do facial recognition

@Bolded-Ever heard of probable cause? I don't have enough details of what happened, but it sounds like there was most likely an arrest because of probable cause. Besides, Winumup said he looked like the guy. Because of that, I'm going to assume the cameras at the CVS only got a part of the guys face or even just the back of his head. Based on what Windumup told me, there might have been an arrest and a charge with no jail sentence. All because of probable cause. :\

^Correct, but I think Lunarz got the terms "charge" and "convict" confused.
Anyway, Windumup, I hate to be "that guy," but I seriously don't believe you. That story is way too sketchy, either you're lying or you're leaving something out. |

bruh there ain't enough information here to even begin to help you out
ie. How long ago were you convicted? Was it classed as a felony or a misdemeanor? What is the kind of job you keep applying for? here is a general thing to get you started the state you live in is pretty important when it comes to dealing with records as well because some states handle them differently than others |
