Who was able to score the Light AND Dark Expansion Packs, Blackout, AND Spotlight, all at retail back in the day?
Edit: in the US.
Edit2: through 3 seperately purchases, but I was able to get both expansions the day I decided to buy the game. GameStop had ONE Dark expansion, and the Target next door had ONE Light Expansion.
Then I was able to get both dragons on the GameStop website later.

I got the light and dark expansions together using my Christmas money, then got Blackout on the wave 4 release date at TRU, and Spotlight about 3 weeks later at Best Buy.

never found spotlight, but the other 3 were bought.

I don't remember if the Light/Dark Expansions had a firm release date, but I recall searching for them on a particular day. Eventually, after checking TRU, Wal-Mart, Target, and GameStop (none of which had them), we finally found them at Best Buy who only had two copies of each available. I later saw them at Target for a couple weeks, but never again anywhere.

When Blackout/Spotlight were released, we weren't playing quite as much Trap Team (Disney Infinity 2.0 was being played more at the time) and only bought Blackout when we saw him at Wal-Mart. And while that was a great decision, considering his value/rarity (and how cool he is), we regret not picking up Spotlight since she was also in stock at the time... Same goes for Echo, who we only saw that one time as well.

I managed to get them all the day they came out. I guess I was just lucky.

lel I just walked into best buy one day and saw the last 2 spotlight and blackout on the shelf.

I got them all but Spotlight. I got the light pack at a Gamestop and the dark pack at Walmart. I also got blackout for my birthday and got echo at fred meyers.

I got all four - but for less than retail.

The expansions when Amazon UK had preorders open for £8 each, the dragons from a local GAME store (along with Echo on 3 for 2)

I have Spotlight and Blackout (£10 each on Amazon U.K.) but the other two are ridiculously hard to find for a reasonable price. ONE DAY, I TELL YE.

I got all 4 easily near release.

I don't think I've ever seen a Spotlight or Blackout in person 0.o

In terms of the Expansion Packs, I got Sunscraper Spire for roughly 40 bucks at some point near release. It was one faithful day where the minimum price was less than 70-100 dollars.

Then I found Midnight Museum for retail at a Gamestop on some random day later in the year

Only got the Sunscraper Spire. Dammit.

I've managed to get the two Expansion Packs but got lucky with Spotlight at gamestop, I've never seen Blackout tho.

Acquired both element expansion packs around Mid-April.

I've never ever located anything else on the new elements, except single packs of their trap masters.

And I might have seen one of the level pieces preowned a few months ago.

Dang it, I should've specified "not on day one".
Because I didn't get ANY of them on day one.
I also didn't have to do much searching at all.
(limited to going to the target next door to where I bought the Starter Pack and scanning Gamestop's website about 3 times.)

I also got the Light and Dark Trap Team Skylanders from retail. In fact, I got the Light expansion pack a week before it was suppose to release. Just saw it at Toys R Us, the expansion pack was put on the shelves by accident, they weren't suppose to sell early, but the cashier let me buy it anyway. As for the Dark expansion pack, got it on the intended release date. When I got Spotlight and Blackout, it was at Toys R Us, the morning on the day the toys released. There was another guy in the store eager for the toys. But that rotten scoundrel wanted to buy everything because he was a SCALPER! I saw his cart filled with Kaos Traps and other rare Skylanders. I wanted to kick his ***! Asides from that, I got what I came for, but I felt awful for the kids who ended up missing out because of this rotten scalper.

To summarise, no you're not the only one.

I got them all on the day they were released except the dark pack. But I got that about a week later.

Got them all in Store on day of release

I got my Light and Dark expansions off of Amazon when they were temporarily below retail (glory to those days!), so it came quite easily to me, thought it certainly wasn't easy having to leave a Light and Dark expansion sjust sitting on the shelves of Target when I didn't have enough money. (That was around two weeks before I got them off of Amazon).

Blackout and Spotlight were a different story. I had practically no luck getting them in many places, and it was only the opportune timing of Best Buy that saved me some grief. Echo was rather difficult as well, as she happened to be a stroke of luck finding a lonely single in Gamestop. Come to think of it, I think that Trap Team was the hardest one to complete due to the short shelf lives of most of the characters.

I got them all at TRU. I walked in and there they were. Even after several weeks, I saw them on the shelves.

I found them at walmart 3 of each were there. I then didnt seem them for a few months until after the port strike then i saw another set of 4 of each at that store. I also saw a few at gamestop. These were the expansion packs.

As for spotlight and blackout. I bought those at walmart also along with echo and the rest of that wave. I then got my wife a lone blackout i found at tru a few months later as she never gotten one during the walmart visit and i hadnt seen him anywhere else for awhile.

I'm in the UK, and they had loads of both Light and Dark packs. (Including the single version of KL and KM.) Blackout and Spotlight were harder to get, but I managed to grab a remaining Blackout. There weren't any Spotlights around whenever I looked, but later on they restocked her. So all of them weren't too hard to grab over here.

I usually avoid buying skylanders at the store. but yes I did buy the light and dark expansions day 1 at toys r us and spotlight and blackout within the first few days at walmart.
