The prices on ebay and stuff are rising like crazy and I can't even get my favorite character.

I know how you feel. I refuse to pay more than $10 for any character toy, but I've been watching Spotlight since she first came out and the price continues to be ridiculously high. Also on that list of things to watch are Echo and Trail Blazer, but they're not quite as ridiculous.

Trap Team characters, why do you stay so expensive?

Still looking for an Air Snake that doesn't break the bank. There are some nice ebay listings using it as a picture but NO guarantee it's that trap.


Gearshift and Short Cut are also Skylanders I more or less gave up on because they haven't changed price since release. Even Knight Mare went from your eternal soul to cheap to sorta expensive again.

for me, that character is spotlight.

It's Spotlight and Blackout. Their prices are ridiculous.

I got lucky at Gamestop finding used Blackout and Spotlight together with that buy two get three free deal.

amazon.de Spotlight new is 15.00 euros and 7 euros to ship it air mail to you in the States. I bought 3 of them and it cost me about 47.88 was a deal. Also Blackout is 15.00 euros. Good luck and buy some will ya?

Get used to not having them then, I never did see the light/dark packs in Trap Team in a store. You never know what their production run was for anything; my guess is they made these limited on purpose to drive up demand for the game.

I think there might be a short spurt when GameStop finally adds preowned Spotlight and Blackout to the website and they don't know what price to charge for them. I would expect them to be $8.99 or $9.99 at first if that happens. You would need to check the website for them often to catch it, but there's a chance. After that they will probably bump the price up to at least $19.99.

I also noticed yesterday, I went for Skylanders Weekend and there was a big box FULL of used skylanders from the same person (Yeah I know, crazy, but they were selling ALL their skylanders) and I noticed I could have found Blackout. WHAT WAS I THINKING!

My store (Sweden) have 20+ of both Blackout and Spotlight for ~$18 each. Echo is only $12.

Whats your angle?

Spotlights the one I can't find anywhere I was lucky enough to get Blackout and Echo.

I am quite surprised the Dark and Light expansion packs have taken second place to Black Out and Spot Light .

From the friends I've had from Brazil, that sounds like one of the roughest places to get stuff. Sucks.

For me its Short Cut and the Water Mini pack .

I'm so angry about the prices of the dark and light packs.

Has anyone seen spotlight or blackout in stores recently? I live in MD, and I have only seen them in a store once, when they first came out, nothing since, just overpriced on ebay. Got lucky that my local TRU had light and dark packs and got those, but never been able to find Spotlight and Blackout. Most retailers in my area, walmart, target, etc, have phased out all the old figures and packs, all they have now is Superchargers and clearance price starter packs

Well it's really just 2 games in because he came out in STT and late in the STT year anyways so.

When I go to change my pre-order to the Crash Edition, I plan to look in that box with used Skylanders to see if I can find him.

I really hope when Imaginators comes out, the prices will go down. I want to get Knight Mare and Blackout so bad... even if Knight Mare is in her single pack I'm fine. Preferably Blackout, but he has a lower chance then Knight Mare really.

Gamestop.com had the light and dark figures in stock yesterday and the trap masters were only about 6 bucks. Oh and they had buy 2 get 1 free...not sure if that's still going now. I don't need them but for those who do, hurry before scalpers take em all!

I bought Spotlight for about $22 to complete my Trap Team collection. To me... not worth it. Blackout definitely isn't worth $50+... he's a pretty weak character, disappointingly.

before blackout was all the rage i was lucky to find one online for normal price. I was never able to find spotlight though. some figures are going to take a lot to find and a lot to buy i figured out.

I was lucky to find echo, high five, blackout and spotlight at my local walmart when they were restocking back during TT

Check used ones at Gamestop. Mine had some cheap, incorrectly labeled as regular Crusher.

Granite crusher was never hard to find in the first place, you had to just go to a target, and usually they had some out. Of course getting that figure is hard NOW, but still.

He is kind of underpowered, so I don't understand why he is so loved. I have him. He looks interesting, I guess, but he really just collects dust on my shelf. :/
