Apparently, the presence of bears in the area is well-documented.

UPDATE: He has been found unharmed.

That's a ridiculous punishment on the parents. You don't endanger your child's life by leaving them in well known dangerous woods.

Now the child has been raised in the wild he has to deal with the pressure of modern age people. He may not want to live in the urban area and may attempt to return to the wild. However he needs to find a mating partner for physical sexual interactions to breed children of his own.
