Was thinking about this since I found my old copy of SoulSilver this morning

Mine is SoulSilver and I managed to hit the 999:59 so I've probably put around 1100 hours into it.

i may have more total in a pokemon game, but my highest known hours is tf2 with 1566.

pretty sure i've played nearly 1000 hours of sword of the stars

I think I've either hit or come very close to the cap of the counter in one of my Pokemon games.

Pretty sure it's SSB4 >.>

rune factory 4, 543 hours.

Destiny 6 hours a day :3 so to add around 100 hours total

Either Skyrim, Spyro AHT, or Pokemon AS. I'm not sure how that last one is my most-played DS game on my activity log.

From a while ago, 201:42 in PMD Darkness.

I'm gonna assume Left 4 Dead 2 is my most played game. I've almost got 1000 hours on Steam and must have 2000+ on Xbox 360.

For me, probably Medieval 2: Total War. I have no idea how long I actually played that game, but I had a Steam copy (Which I got after I lost my physical copies ) which had over 300 hours clocked before a patch combined the expansion with the original and removed that data. And that is a VERY long time for me to play a game, since I tend to get bored and move onto new games.

I think I had 800+ hours on Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but that was during a time when I sometimes used to leave the Wii on, even when I wasn't actually playing.

Fire Emblem Awakening is around 670 hours, and Pokemon White is around 550 hours. That's all I can remember right now.

I honestly don't know how anybody could spend 4 digit hours on a single game...

40-60+ hours on Brawl, 60 hours on FFXIII and an extra 50 for second playthrough when my old PS3 died, so 110 hours on FFXIII.

1.2k hours on TF2.

Almost my siblings and i got 999:59 on Pokémon Diamond Version.

Minecraft.
I spent hours and even full days working on ridiculously big projects non-stop.

My runner-up for is probably RuneScape, because tedious skilling.
