I like rap/hip-hop music. When I first heard "Once I Was 7 Years Old", I thought that sounded weirdly nice for aggressive and gritty hip-hop music is. But then I saw the video and the singer is actually white (because what white adult says "mama") and I realised it was yet another douchebag singing about sensitive he is in a way that comes off as pretentious, unoriginal and infuriating just like "I Belong To You, You Belong To Me."



Now that song has spread like wildfire and everyone I know is singing it.

Have you ever liked a song at first but then hate it after overexposure or learning something about it you never knew?

I used to like Animals a few years ago, but when I watched the music video, I didn't really like it so much anymore. They just randomly destroyed a guy's car and set it on fire.

This is me right now with Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots. I used to like this song until it got popular, now it's annoying.

Eh, that doesn't really happen to me. I still love some songs from Lostprophets, even knowing what the lead singer did.


Once I like a song, I can listen to it a hundred times in a row and not get tired of it.

I liked Rooftops by Lostprophets but after hearing about the lead singer I cannot bring myself to ever listen to that or any other song by them again.

The band reformed without the singer though so that's nice I guess.

I use to love "Ain't no rest for the wicked" by Cage The Elephant but then I read the lyrics and realized how cheesy they were.

i used to like hello by adele, and i thought it was a male singer the first time i heard it for whatever reason. then it got overplayed and popular and i can't stand it as much anymore.

One of my favourite songs when I was younger was "Just Lose It" by Eminem. I was so into the song that I bought the album Encore just for that one song. As years have went by I have started to find everything about it annoying and tedious. Another thing that makes it more worse is that if you compare it to the singles he did before like "Lose Yourself" and "Without Me" it looks really bad.

Another song I used to like but now it's annoying is Panda by Desiigner.
