I did almost get hit by a car while picking up some pizza that my mom ordered. I had to cross the street and a bright red car just whizzed past me. I probably would have died that day if it weren't for my insane luck. Seriously, I was a millisecond close to getting run over. Now, I have a serious fear of crossing the street. I am super careful when I step onto the road

I almost drowned in the deep end of a pool.

I mean I got robbed my first semester of college, so that was a thing. But, during my sophmore year of highschool, my Dad had a stroke and instead of referring him to the ER like a smart General Practitioner would, the man decided to wait 5 hours before they even suggested it. I heard about it after I got back from school and spent a month watching my dad in the hospital and wondering if the stoke and seriously affected his left side. He's better now, and the stroke didn't hit him too badly, but it still inspired me to be a doctor.
There was this guy I knew that was in an online relationship with this girl and he had fallen hard for her. Turns out she was getting in too deep and decided to fake that she had cancer and leave the net rather than tell him. I found out later that it was all a fabricated persona that she made and had to break it to him. The look on his face was heartbreaking and it took a lot of months to dig him out of that hole.

Man there's been many moments, but the best remembered is when I was walking to my mom's car after school. Which was across the street and the street has a odd formation of crosswalks. So I go to the first crosswalk a car almost ****ing hits me. I was scared so I hesitated to cross the next one (my mom was watching the entire thing). So I cross the next one thinking no one would speed by near me. A car after picking up their kid, gets out of parallel parking and nearing hits me. I made to the car startled. My mom was startled as well. That day was trying to relax, but this kid my mom was babysitting would not leave me alone until I yelled for my mom. I did not want to be near anyone to deal with my near death experience that day. My dad did report it to the police, but the police up here are barely competent to work.
