I know Volume 3 is finally where it picks up, but 1 and 2 soured me big time - I followed since the beginning too. I respect if it's finally shaping up to real grimdark, but I don't have any patience left for it. At least I didn't just lose interest altogether like X-Ray and Vav, boy Gavin's character clases with the meta humor.

More Volume 3 spoilers

The whole thing with Yang's arm still bothers me. It's one thing to kill off Pyrrha(which I was upset about, but it's a decision I can respect. It gives Ruby and Jaune a personal motive for going after Cinder), but I feel like that scene was just Rooster Teeth going "hey guys, we can be dark and edgy!"

tbh i have no idea why i like this show, the characters have very little development and personality to the point it gets frustrating, theres so many characters to deal with in the show that some are definitely gonna get very little development if any in the future anyway, which is a major problem considering how character focused it is
season 3 ****
its also annoying that the only character that wasnt dicking around and was actually doing something to move the lackluster plot foreward got killed off, if it was further into the shows life span and it had improved yeah that would be more than fine but now is just plain annoying

theres also like 57157641671 jokes about pennies, wind/ashes and arms and its gotten so old
