OKAY SO AVG JUST FOUND A THREAT SOMEWHERE IN SYSTEM32 AND I SHUT DOWN MY PC AND NOW I'M ON MOBILE

You do realize some viruses and malware get worse if the system is shut off, right? You know how some programs can't complete an update to system files unless you restart? Bingo.

Of course there's always the likelihood it's a false positive. But if you've not downloaded or messed with anything recently, well...

On the bright side, odds are it's something you can fight back against and get rid of without a hard drive wipe.

if i remember correctly, it had "xxx" at the end of the name, before ".exe". something starting with an "a", probably from some faulty sims 4 mod.

if it's .exe and you haven't opened the file you're probably fine, just google the file name to make sure it's okay to delete it
