Why did this happen?

It just seems odd there are 2 air packs and no life pack. Does anyone know what the story is?

No ideas for Life-themed levels that didn't fit the main story? Dunno, there was no talk about any planned and scrapped ones ever. Sun Dragon also wouldn't be involved since he was Earth before being redesigned into Camo.

To be fair, both air adventure packs (and the Sheepwreck Island Adventure Pack) had barely anything to do with their skylanders' element, all the other packs had at least something to do with them, so I don't think they put too much thought on the element of an adventure pack.

Umm Ghost Roaster was the only elemental aligned but main reason he is a Ghoul and not that he is undead element .

It had less to do with elements then animal connections .

Pirates / Shark
Dragons / dragon
Ice / Yeti

I honestly cannot see any connections with Tower of Time or Sheep Wreck except Wind Up and Pop thorn should have swopped packs . Pop is sheepy like and Wind up is awesome for time.

Pretty stumped on the Nightmare express Indiana Jones theme too. I think Torch , Chopper or Cobra Cadabra would have been better for it .

The enigmatic Deja Vu actually fits rather nice with Mirror of mystery .

I think the first four Adventure Packs still had a rather strong connection with their Skylanders (Ghost Roaster is the most obvious but Slam Bam uses ice related attacks and comes from a frozen island, Sunburn is a dragon-phoenix hybrid and Terrafin kinda fits Pirate Seas' theme).

I agree with others saying they swapped Pop Thorn and Wind-Up's Packs.

Not sure what they had in mind with Blades aside for the fact that he likes adventures.
Déjà Vu fits her Pack quite well and I think I don't have to mention Knight Mare and Knight Light (though they were Elemental Expansion Packs, not simple Adventures).

It annoys me a little that Life still hasn't got a proper Pack, and by that I mean that no Life Skylander has been released along one of them.
I tend to focus more on the Element of the character rather than the level itself otherwise Nightmare Express's locations would fit Life decently since they are at least full of lush and exotic vegetation.

I feel like the Life element is a "general/standard element", so they keep it to Starter Packs and Single Packs to keep the "standard element" thing.
