So I have gotten something in thought here, The next Spyro game may not be Skylanders but could be rather mature for the young audience. Or rather they could continue the one that was suppose to be the game that got replaced by Skylanders but Skylanders came because they wanted to race another idea from Disney. Why do I say this, because my mind was wondering. And I also seem to know the threat of another one coming soon that may replace Skylanders. I think they could still make a Skylanders game, one with cards, But maybe we won´t have the chance. You see I have a dilemma, is it Skylanders, or is it something entirely different. I have a little something for you, keep an eye for games that come out on October 2016. If for some reason it hit´s September, look it up as well. Now if we have not the game that comes out on those dates, Skylanders could be no more, and we will or could have another real Spyro game.

So what I´m trying to say is, this is the page to let everyone know about the next game whether it be Skylanders, or Something else for the Forums.

I meant I don't get why and the wording you used is odd. Did you find a leak? Or is it just far out hope? Source of rumor would be nice. We already had this happen before with someone making a topic about the crazy possibility of a Spyro game with no basis on rumors and anything, and it's honestly a waste of time if there's nothing but hope, hope unfortunately doesn't make much discussion.

Hey I was just corriging you there still Spyro fan from the 2000s there in my case etd to dotd era and well seriously am I the only one who wants difficulty,rich lore and story,more than just some catchphrase(actual dialogue),great feel of exploration,not some baby too much easy game with no challenge,simplistic plotlines(yeah you will say superchargers have one but it's a racing game it don't count and the comics even great will never have an impact on the games),little to no dialogue for the main characters?!Seriously,what were they thinking even classic spyro had lines even though it is a platformer and talking of platforming....it's almost non existent when I do platforming I want the level of difficulty of nightmarish place like Tree Tops not easy jumping.So don't ask me for searching info for a franchise ruiner like that,if you get any info of Sony getting back Spyro though...it would the greatest day of my life.

Let´s look up Skylanders or Spyro, and see which one comes out on fall 2016. maybe we will get Skylanders; eg Skylanders Castle Force, or we get the original game back. Or we could get yet another Spyro game, which would be just fine by me. It´s March, and there is a 90% chance that they are making it. Which means you can look up the beginnings of it, and tell us about it a month or two from now.

Forgotten. They've stopped making Spyro games since 2009.

The original Spyro's Kingdom was going to have blood in it, but the devs felt that the mature setting didn't feel like Spyro.

I know you want a Spyro game like most of the other classic and Legend fans, but Skylanders is where Spyro is now.

You are still making little sense. If a Spyro game comes out, yay? If a Skylanders game comes out alone,nay? It's that simple, you don't need to make long winded speeches about looking foward to either.

I believe he did the same thing last year, hoping for a new Spyro game, even posting off-topic in the Skylanders section about it.

Here's a little thing that I can't understand is how Insomniac manages to continue to develop the Ratchet series so well by keeping the same formula, and yet Activision can't seem to do that with Spyro? Just a small thing that bugs me a little.

They're not the same people, not the same philosophy, not the same conditions, and definately not the same higher ups. Game devs and companies aren't machines that deploy games randomly good or bad.

Since when was there gonna be a new Spyro game?

Ratchet & Clank survived in today's gaming industry by being a hybrid platformer/shooter. The only straight up 3D platformers nowadays are either Mario or indie games.

Well I don't know much about Naughty Dog but I think they planned to continue Jak and Daxter, but after Uncharted they decided to focus on that (if anyone could confirm/deny that it would be much appreciated).

I feel like it wouldn't be so strange having new Jak and Daxter games now just because it isn't strange to still have Ratchet and Clank (the game comes out in 22 days!!!), though it would be strange to have a Spyro game, as in an Insomniac Spyro game.

It will never happen they no longer acknowledge our existence and they never will.

Only adults care about those franchises so no,it will never happen
