Apologies if there is another topic with a similar concept.

Now, with this being a Spyro forum, I'm aware that the answers will most likely be overwhelmingly Skylanders, but I'm truly curious.

I used to be a Skylanders fanatic, and I still play the games, but I have found myself moving more towards amiibo instead.

Or it will be overwhelmingly anti-skylanders, there is a big split in the forums by spyro genwunners and skylander players (Although I personally don't think Skylanders "ruined" Spyro)

I want to say Skylanders, but above all my loyalty is to Nintendo themselves so Amiibos.

Amiibo.

-They look nice
-Can be used on many different games
-isn't skylanders or Lego dimensions

I'd say Amiibo as well.

As parisruelz12 implied, Amiibo can be used in many games and the detail and design of them are really nice comparing them to other TtL figures. I have several amiibo and gotten another one today, in fact, and I enjoy examining the quality made into making them. My favorite in my collection is the Link one. They could even be things other than figures like yarn yoshis as plush toys. I have the green yarn yoshi and I love him as well.

Amiibo.
- They're more well made than Skylanders.
- They can be used on more than one game series.
- Apart from Animal Crossing amiibo Festival, you're not forced to buy figures in order to play a game.
- How often would you find merchandise of characters such as Meta Knight, Sheik or Dark Pit?

Skylanders. None of the others really feel worth it to me.

When I get new Skylanders, I know I'm going to have at least a few hours of playtime, and most likely have fun. I don't need to question if I'll ever actually get any use out of them, unlike Amiibo.

I've always thought Lego games were boring, and Disney Infinity never really got my interest.

However, for collectible figures, Amiibo wins. But for Toys to Life, Skylanders wins in my opinion.

As a TtL game, Skylanders.
As a TtL concept and figure, amiibo.

Amiibo > Lego Dimensions > Disney Infinity > Skylanders

Disney infinity 3.0 since I love using random characters in toy box and how characters interact with other characters from other series or time

The Skylanders were fun. (my current fav has to be trap team)
Disney Infinity has room for improvement
Nintendo really needed to make an Amiibo focused game.
never played lego dimensions.
game freak really needed to give the Pokemon rumble figures some more love, seeing they only made 1 game and that's it. the abandoned it.
