After the cutscene where Spyro talking about the air being thick with ash, go towards the lava and then left. Keep going through a small lava passage. At the end, beat up some enemies and a chest will appear on an island.

That's one, but the others................?

I know where the one with Cynder is. There's an area in the level where there's a few enemys including a big guy. There's a dark crystal somewhere in that area. smash it and it will reveal the chest containing a tail armour for Cynder. That's all I know about it.
