Do you go to rallies/protests/Pride/vigils/etc?


I went to a Consent Culture Now rally at my uni last weekend (originally intended to be a counter-protest to Return of Kings, but they backed down because of resistance across the nation) and I loved it. I will try to get more involved in that sort of thing now. For multiple causes.

Nope. People in here tend to get too violent and it's an easy assumption some guys will sneak in just to throw rocks at the nearest buildings/police. Even researching some activist groups shows that some are more likely to yell to prove they're right instead of negotiating and discussing around here.

I just came in here to say:

Activism suddenly looks and sounds/feels like a weird word to say suddenly.

Just keep saying it for a few moments and maybe you'll get it, too.

I've only ever seen one "big" protest happen near me, and that was just 3 people holding up this sign.
