I am still a dependent on my parents to a certain degree. As such, I cast my vote in the interest of what protects my immediate family. And Bernie Sanders as president would be disastrous for them, so it would either be Hillary Clinton or, for the Republican side, Jeb Bush or John Kasich.
But let's be realistic here, if a Democrat wins the presidency again, it's not going matter. Because the critical elections are actually in Congress. The whole House of Representatives and a third of the Senate are due for reelection after 4 years of nothing but constant shutdowns and near-shutdowns because angry Republican Congressmen stalled things out. What we should be doing is electing new people to Congress in an effort to end the stalemate.
But I don't see that happening. Republicans will keep control of Congress, so if Sanders or Clinton win then it's 4 more years of gridlock. If a Republican wins, then get ready for a vicious flurry of repealing the few laws Congress passed under the Obama Administration. <.<;
