Hunter in Skylanders Possibility? [CLOSED]

Skylanders IDW Comic writer, David Rodriguez mentioned that he thought about bringing Hunter into the Skylanders universe if he got to pick a LoS character to bring back. Do you guys think we'll be seeing Hunter anytime soon in Skylanders? Or at least some character based off of him?

Wanting is definately nowhere close to guarantee in this series. NPC is more likely though, people would complain that as a Skylander name it's too simple.

Hunter is honestly my number one most wanted character to be made into a Skylander. Nothing would be more awesome than a co-op team up with him and Spyro. I doubt it'll ever actually happen though.

But he is only a comic writer though, does he have any control over the canon in the games?
I know he brought Malefor back, but that was because he was told to do so by Activision, right?
But if Hunter was brought back, he should totally be a playable character.

David is Vicarious Visions' writer first,comic series writer second. As long as Acti or his team don't mind doesn't seem like he'd have any issues doing what he wants - I mean,we're talking about the guy that almost killed Gearshift in the comics.

I wouldn't mind seeing him from based on his classic Spyro counterpart. (where he ether assist you in finding stuff, offering you challenges, and help him with a couple of jobs. )

Well, it wasn't an actual attempt, but in one of last year's comics Gearshift gets very injured and a secondary character almost starts grieving for a few frames. A kid wouldn't ever pay much attention but "she's still with us!" has a very obvious meaning. So there's at least some freedom to do things,though it's up to debate how much influence he has over the games themselves since there's some serious bias from the teams over what they want to see that'd be cool and not exactly how a plot should go.

He could work as an NPC in the way Barrysun described.

If he were a Skylander though he could either be like he was in AHT, using a bow and arrow, or since we already have a couple of archers in the Skylanders crew he could his skateboard as a weapon, along with his claws/body.

Also which comic was that Bifrost?

Bifrost was talking about the Light in the Dark comic story.

There's already archer Skylanders like Flameslinger and Snap Shot.

I think if Hunter was gonna be in Skylanders they should have included him in SA. Now, the series feels too detached from Spyro and I don't think it would really work.

It would have been awesome, though! smilie He should have replaced Flameslinger, for sure.
