None, I'd never give them views anyway. Even regular react videos from LPers I watch I'm kinda meh on because usually most exaggerations are too loud and a bit obnoxious. Bronies React is the only one I feel I genuinely enjoy since they drop the act and just straight up go crazy instead of pretending to be surprised or being TOO surprised.

But really not too different from King trying to trademark 'candy'. They didn't make it, they only made it popular.

They still have not listed their format.

I immediately unsubbed to their channels once I saw this.

reaction videos aren't something that can be copyrighted, obviously, and even with that common knowledge, the Fine Bros are still being uncommunicative about this whole thing. They still haven't even listed their format for how their shows work, and that's just causing a lot of confusion. They say they don't want to be like hollywood or television by doing this, and instead they end up like hollywood and television for this. You can't just license a video format(or anything really) just because you made it popular. This is essentially what the Fine Bros are doing. And apparently there have been reports of other video reactions getting taken down by The Fine Bros as well for copyright infringement so that doesn't help.

In the end, all this does is make YouTube's copyright problems worse. Because they want to license the react format without even telling people what that format is and what people can do to avoid copyright infringement. And that's only assuming people would be okay with it in the first place, When it clearly isn't okay that people should have to worry about infringement on something like a react video.

Reaction videos are dumb anyways.

Apparently the Fine Bros have also been removing any comments criticizing them on YouTube, and are constantly reposting their original comments on the video in order to avoid showing a huge number of negative comments. A subgroup on Reddit has been keeping track of everything they've been doing.

Along with that, they not only copyrighted all their show names, such as kids react, teens react, etc, but they're actually trying to copyright the word react. This pretty much means if your video simply has the words "kids react" next to each other then you'll get copyright infringement.

King is probably looking at these guys and thinking even they weren't this stupid when they copyrighted "candy"

Seems like the kind of thing a spoiled person would say once they saw someone doing it better.

Wow, this is a PR mess of epic proportions with a fine dose of pretetious entitlement. Though I'm sure Google and YT won't lift a finger until another big youtuber gets affected since that's how they act.

It's also pretty stupid and sickening they think that by protecting the license they'll be doing god's work to history. Art critics of old got recognized in recent day because they described art that disappeared,nobody cares what they actually thought about it - or if they do it's in the 'people were pretty mad about X style,which is why this artist did different' way which definately doesn't include a bunch of random people with no knowledge of what they're watching.

**** like this is why, even with all the good that comes from scientific and engineering patents, I rail endlessly about the US Patent Office. It's going to be the death of us, I tells ya. And it's not like the anti-trust lobby would go to bat for something like this. It's insignificant to them. <.<;

In only the last 6 hours they've lost over 30,000 subs. I think they're done being a big channel now. They ruined their entire careers. They're losing an astronomical amount of subs by the second.

Aww, they're also upset too and made an update video about how we just don't understand that they want to steal our money for a good cause, and even roll their eyes mid speech.

They BETTER have a bit hit on their careers. Nothing will get them off the high horse but actually losing money and their entire reputation. Again, King was less entitled than this,they wanted no copycats of their copycat just for money. This overall tone of 'we're making the world better by making us monopolize an entire format' is, I'll say it again, sickening.

Oh, and don't expect them to have given any time for people to prepare. They're hitting who's defenseless and copyright striking low sub channels.

And apparently they'll try to PR spin this into racism or something in the coming days, oh boy.

I found this in attempt to find the video that stated they were copyrighting react videos, and I found this instead.

They are right, I have seen videos that are in the style of their own react videos (i.e Furries React). Yet at the same time, I think they're doing this the wrong way. You shouldn't trademark a certain style, that's kind of dumb.

I see what they're doing and I agree, but the videos that people make based off of that style aren't really making a lot of profit. In fact, one could argue they aren't make profit at all. So it's useless that they're doing this, especially with Youtube's stricter copyright policies. Yet copyright still applies, but trademarking a certain style is....odd to me.

Plus, stating that this is for a "good cause" honestly does NOT make sense. Does trademarking things donate to charities now...?

Trademarking is a good cause because they stuck in their minds that reacting is the new way of recording history.

But it doesn't matter if it's making a ton or little money, they didn't create it,they didn't invent it,they didn't even make it popular. It exploded with them but they were never the first. Trying to act like everyone else is stealing from the poor little guys is stupid in many ways and incredibly shady.

I'm enjoying this because of all the drama surrounding it being made for me to read. And I wonder how long it will take for that sub count to stop dropping. Hopefully not for a while.

At least nobody didn't copyright Let's Play videos or we would REALLY have a problem. I would abandon my channel eternally and stick to Twitch instead if it's not that strict with copyright. (Because uhh... I don't know much about Twitch)

I think react videos are kind of dumb.

Then there's those "live react" videos which show episodes in full (this is where I can see a copyright issue) but with a webcam in the corner.

It's dropping fast, but it's not dropping THAT fast. They've only lost over 1 million in the whole time since they announced React World. So it'll take a couple more days to lose another million. Unless the rate increases of course.

The kids/teens they bring in are kinda snobby anyways.
