Yeah, it has been almost a week since we got the latest Wave. These long gaps in between releases is terrible!

Yay Power Blue Trigger Happy. =) If I am getting a new version of him it might as well be a variant.

Now my big question is when is regular Thrillipede going to come out?

Because of all the memes surrounding the release of this one variant, this is one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I'm keeping my profile picture and signature like this until I get him.

I don't know. She's listed on amazon (though for twice the price) but none of the stores have her yet. I guess I'll have to spend another fortune for a figure that's impossible to get here.

Still don't understand how non-collectors think Eggcited Thrillipede looks appealing.

People will probably change their minds in person, he has that pearl finish that always looks pretty great - like Polar Whirlwind.

I'm fast becoming alienated at the Alt Decos. I may just become an original purist hereafter. Not sure I need a million color flavors of the same character. I was cool and all for a while, but five games in....not so much.

I do have to agree. Not to drag up the "Altmageddeon" issue in another thread, but it was cool in the first game, that we had these four 'Legendary" characters. And the surprise variants (Flocked Stump Smash, my man WERDS)... We got more in Giants, and that was okay... but they seem to be doing far too many of them (to the point where we have more alt-decos than new characters)... They're no longer special.

If they want to make them special again, they should do them like chase variants, but in larger quantities. Like, now, Astroblast ships out four per case. Make him three per case, and one Legendary Astroblast per case.

What they need to do is start selling chases and limited the originals that would put a cool spin on things. Don't you think?????

Their bottom line is their bottom line. They will flood until we stop. I'm full stop on chase and Alt Decos after this game. They'll consider themselves damn lucky I even pick up the starter after all of these bait and switch they did on packaging this year with the Nintendo Amibos. I didn't sucker myself to "get them all" at launch like others did, but I understand the frustration.

They'll earn my business here on out, in other words. The way it should be. Phoned in, this series has become.

My family has clocked in over 20 hours on Infinity in last weeks on just the toy box. We haven't even started the playsets. And, I'm only getting what I want. How refreshing.

I did think it'd be neat if the sold the older-style variants in Eon's Elite-type collector's packaging. Folks who collect would still have the "rare" versions, while more casual fans could just get cool figures.

They are right in the middle of a lesson on this. Variants are easy to find, every store I've been to has at least a peg full of Missile Tow Dive Clops and some Frightful Fiestas. If you were patient on the Dark Starters, they are crazy cheap on Amazon right now. TRU is swimming in Wii Dark Starters and Legendaries, those will have to eventually be clearanced out.

This figure looks so ugly in that picture. It didn't look half bad in the high-res though so anyone with one in hand: Is this guy ugly or not?

I may be tempted to get this horrid variant, but my loyalty still remains to the real version and that is his normal version. I do really want him soon though and seriously he meets up with the hype since final characters in these games haven't been meeting expectations I have noticed lately.

So I'll have Thrillipede and SADB Wednesday, meaning 9 more items and I can call this mess done. Hopefully TFB gets things better next year. I'm a big fan of the color blue, so I'm really wanting to see what the power blue figures look like in toy form.

Im skipping this variant thank you. Ill consider on maybe getting spring ahead dive bomber but eggcited thrillipede doesn't strike me fancy in any way. I know the wait for his regular version will be Worth it to me.

Really looking forward to him, haven't seen any gameplay videos and I'm extremely curious to see what he can do.

I was curious if they would match the engine to his goggles as I was doing the purplish pink repaint. Its neat to see all 3 versions.
