If you like her tell her.

2 years is not a big gap, and if others have an issue, screw them.

It's their issue, not yours.

In my opinion, 12 and 13-14 isn't really that big of an age difference. But it might get a few odd looks from others.
My advice? If you can handle weird looks and things like "duuuude you're like wayyyyy too young for her", go for it. If not (and if your parents would have an issue with it), wait a while.
Which leads me to another question, do your parents know that you're bi? That's gotta be considered as well.

I mean, it's not really gonna be us "dating" or whatever, because my parents will definitely not let me date yet.
But yes, I have come out to both my parents (but not my little sister) and they're totally cool with it. I've told my mom that I like this girl and she seems okay with it. But no prompts from her to tell her or anything yet.

Well, not really the years as a number, but the fact that I'm still a "preteen" and she's a teenager. I don't know how people would react to that, let alone two girls being together in this grade (some homophobic normies in my class).

To be honest there are a lot of freshmen girls who get used by seniors or juniors without noticing it. I guess a lot of girls just like the idea of dating older men.

update: she called me to ask about a science lab thing we did as partners (i was sick thursday-now), somethings about whether i had it or not, i told her was in my locker and stuff. then she asked if i was okay, i just said "extremely sick", we had a laugh, she said she hopes i feel better, and then i awkwardly said bye, thinking that she, the more courageous one, would hang up no problem.

no guys she like said "b-by- okay bye" in this awkward quiet voice like i did

Love is when you see her/him hanging out with a guy/girl that you know likes him/her or you think he/she likes them, you get Envious.
Whenever you see him/her do smilie^ you feel like your going to cry.

EDIT: Just in case she is 14 and not 13, the formula still works, as it says under in the chart and not over.

While that's true, this is a potential relationship that's 1-2 years apart. That's not a very big gap at all. Even then, it sounds like they're in the same grade despite that, so that situation doesn't even apply.

I say go for it! You have nothing to loose! There's always that fear of like "But what if they reject me?" "What if our friendship turns around for the worse because of it?"

Well in my years of seeing my friends date each other and giving advice, including me confessing a crush, like, once; confessing doesn't really turn out bad. Especially if it's a trusted friend.
They might reject you, but telling them anyway feels like it takes a big weight off of your shoulders.
And I've never seen friendships fall because of a confession. In fact, I've seen confessions in person and nothing bad actually happened - even if there was a rejection. I consider friendships falling apart an unrealistic expectation now, because I've literally never seen or heard of it happening.

They still...talked to you though. I mean, people can go into shock and are afraid to confront the person again, but they all will eventually talk to you again. They were just most likely afraid to hurt you somehow, like act like nothing happened will hurt your feelings or something.

I think that rule really only works with older ages. For example: 40/2 + 7 = 27, 40 year olds dating 26 year olds would be creepy.
