It's a ELITE remake of SSA... WHICH MEANS WE FINALLY GET A NEW SUNBURN.

I wouldn't mind a remade and expanded SSA plus Giants but I highly doubt they'd do that. An elite reformed villian lineup makes more sense and probably would sell way better than them finishing out Eliting the rest of SSA. Still it's like them calling the next one a "game changer", probably has little to do with anything.

Eh, seems way too soon. They just got to the real nitty-gritty of Superchargers, and at this rate they'll drop all advertising for it in the next month. I like how they waited until late May last year since it felt like they let Trap Team fade out first. (I'd much more prefer they take a break until next february)

Yeah, anyone remember the fake Giants twitter? It was just a bot automatically retweeting with a SSA scroll, going off of the fact we knew the name. We'd need that verfied before assuming it's really TFB.

However if it was a full on Elite remake of SSA I'll be all happy, especially if it means they'll have extra time to work on the next sequel later by skipping this year.

Could it be based on the cartoon? The main cast are all Elites and it would make total sense to make the game and cartoon tie in together. Perhaps they will have at least 5 reposes/variants on those characters alone to cash in on the show. LOL

Yeah, I still think they wouldn't waste a cartoon without a direct game tie-in so it has to be this. Isn't it due out this summer? Making an announcement this early would be understandable then.

An SSA and Giants remaster on one disk, with all Skylanders compatible, along with jumping would make me ecstatic. Itd give TfB and likely VV more time to work on a game (Say, if TfB is ALSO working on Sky 6)

If it's a tie-in with the cartoon, darn another game with the Academy as the hub, that's getting tiring. But yeah it's possible... It also means no Sunburn, again ._.

I mentioned this somewhere else as an idea. That the next game would be based on the elites. Where their enhanced powers are put to the test. That may also explain the two missing elements in the Elite line up. Can you say starter pack?

It very well could be fake. Using the term Elite makes it feel like they're playing it safe, instead of thinking up something more unique like Trap Team or Superchargers.

If we could check the followers, it would be possible to tell, since the devs would have to know it's official to do so to begin with.

Honestly this is what I'd like for them to do. However I must admit it also might just end the series for me since the first two are the only two I truly enjoy still.
