I really want a avatr and I've saved 4 different avatars and they keep turning out too big!

Use paint to make the avi 100x100 and try saving as PNg, and if that dont work, try saving a JPG.

Thats what I've tried but it keeps ending up as 75 x 105 pixels

try using Photobucket to resize it

I don't see what's the problem - just resize the picture with any image program. Limit the largest dimension to the maximum allotted image size (in your case it's 105 - limit this further).

An image hosting website. Upload your pictures there and you can paste it on websites, or on forums as an avatar.
