I don't trust online tests, one told me that i was crazy.

I'm not crazy, because my mother had me tested.

The first few I took years ago said I had moderate, borderline severe depression.

Last year it said I was soundly in the severe range.

I even took a depression/anxiety test at school and red flagged on it that I was at high risk of doing something drastic to myself. The school ignored it.

Online Testing/Self Diagnosis really isn't the most reliable thing (as previously stated multiple times) because there are a lot of things you need to worry about:
-accuracy of the test itself
-placebo effect
-weather or not the test was made by a professional, rather than some 10-14 year old whose idea of depression is Shadow the Hedgehog and Evanescence on replay.

I would get a doctor, and then maybe a second opinion before jumping to a conclusion like that.

It's better if you consult a counselor, you may have some things going on but there's a chance it could be something else (and whether it's an actual disorder or just something situational/temporary)

I'm going to see a psychologist to see whether I have depression or not. But I have a feeling that I have mild depression at minimum. >__<

I self diagnosed myself with depression mainly because I share quite a lot of symptoms with it. The only reason I haven't been professionally diagnosed is because my mom won't take me seriously when I say I want a therapist.

I had a hard time with this, I've wanted to see a psychiatrist for over a year, and I'm finally going to in little over a week . My problem was not knowing what to say to convince my parents, but being almost 18 its my choice now.
what you should do is sit your parents down and be real with them, tell them how you feel and why you feel it'd help to see someone. But seriously don't self diagnose because the truth could either be actually very simple or more serious than you know

A good way for young people to get in contact with a therapist or youth services is through your school counselor, so if you think the test results could be hinting at something potentially serious you should talk to someone about it!

If you feel like you have depression, go and see a doctor.

That way you'll have a clear answer.

In the future, i'd avoid online tests they'll just make you feel worse.
