Depends on who I'm talking to. I'll use them if they use them. Even then, I wouldn't call it lots though.

I do find them kinda ridiculous, but it's just the culture of the youth today, and there's nothing inherently bad with that. You have to be able to adapt and speak the same language to get your point across.

Like it or not, emojis have made communication more vibrant. It's easier to convey your reaction by using them (or not using them, if you want to make a serious impression).

In all seriousness, emojis lag everything they touch for me. I'd rather make a funny face with symbols or use static pictures/small animations like you usually have in a forum.

Emojis? Nah. I only really use them when messing with my brother.
Emoticons, on the other hand... Yes. All the time. X3 I feel that spreading them across text "softens" it, especially if it's sarcasm or a text that could be mistaken as something more serious without them.

Fun fact: did you know introverts tend to use a lot of emoticons? Yaaaaa.

I don't really use that much social media. Though on the ones I do use, no hardly. But when texting friends, sometimes I may use them. But as I said, rarely. And because I'm a lazy ****.
