This year will also be the 5th anniversary of the Skylanders franchise. Time flies.

I remember when everyone was throwing fits about how bad Spyro's design was and called the game trash for it.

It's kinda petty to still have such hatred for something that doesn't really impact your life (it's not like we were going to get actual Spyro games otherwise).

EDIT: And I don't mean hatred as in strongly disliking the product I mean that's fine but like devoting so much time and effort into something you so clearly don't like and never will.

I can already see someone gearing up to respond with the prime example.

It really only takes mentioning Skylanders in other forums/subreddits or social media. The responses will be that "annoying" franchise that their younger siblings/relatives like, that crappy Wii game with ugly Spyro on it because he's totally not playable if his name isn't on the title(legit argument I saw from someone),or the scum of earth from the devil Activision that's the only thing standing between us and the glorious perfect Spyro game which would magically appear the moment they stopped selling toys.

This is actually the only site where I can openly like Skylanders because on other sites I get attacked by those nostalgia-tard people. It's kinda sad, actually...

I'd have to agree with you there.

I've noticed quite a few people that still moan about the Spyro series, but i think it's time to move on.

The character is still around after all, just with less focus on him.

Bet you thought i'd be the prime example of negativity didn't you smilie
