I still need to finish the 1st game (already know what happens, watched the anime), and get the 2nd lmao.

I can't tell if that Raiden looking mech guy in D3 is supposed to be Makoto.

Looks good though it doesn't tell much. If the anime is supposed to be original and tie the end of the first two games then I really hope it turns out good. Supposedly the anime for the first game was pretty crap compared to the game (having seen a clip it's definitely worse paced).

The new game is completely separate from what I call the "Hope's Peak" Arc, IIRC. Danganronpa 3 Anime is supposed to wrap up that "arc" and finish the story of Hope's Peak.
Danganronpa V3 takes place at "Gifted Inmates Academy" Nothing else is known about plot or characters.
Also, a new system has been added to non-stop debates. You can now tell lies to help your case.

The anime suffers from what most game to anime series face, low budgets and low episode count. Fitting the whole game into 12 episodes left out many interactions and caused trials to go faster while evidence was left unexplained. The animation is pretty good though and I like the way they are drawn. I only recommend the anime to people who don't feel they will play the games anytime soon and want to get into the Danganronpa series or just hate Let's Plays. Also, the dub is horrific. It's not that their are bad actors, but no. It doesn't carry the English actors from the game to the anime. In fact, they only keep one voice actor from the game, which of course HAS to be Bryce Papenbrook. So yeah, one voice actor from the game and all knew ones, pretty ****ty decision.

Well then hopefully being an original story rather than an adaptation helps the anime. Instead of trying to fit a 25-ish hour game into 12 episodes it can do its own thing.

I watched the anime and saw a playthrough of the first game. I'd like to get the second game before this anime comes out.
