I rarely watch tv but there was a movie on, so I decided to watch it. There's more than 5 minutes of commercials every break? That was very surprising, it discourages me to watch tv at all. I only watch it for news.

Yep. Commercials, commercials are everywhere, comercials all the time.

Yeah.... To give a basic idea:
-Out of a 30min show, the show itself is only about 22min long on average. 8 minutes of commercials.
-For an hour long show, only about 47min is actual show. That leaves 13min of commercials.

Often times it feels like more, and yes I swear there's breaks that are about 5 minutes of just commercials. It's annoying, but that's how TV works.

The worst is watching a football game and ever other commercial is a Draftkings and/or Fanduel commercial. It's so damn annoying

Commercials are why I stopped watching normal TV. I'd rather stream or buy a DVD.
