The first things do when I get a new device is switch off auto brightness. It's super frustrating good me when I'm sitting down and the brightness keeps altering.

I feel you bro. I like my brightness low, as it affects my eyes. So I hated when it randomly brightened on me.

Never used it. I always keep my brightness below 50%

My mom uses it, but I personally don't. I have to keep my brightness for everything on really low settings at all times or else I get really bad headaches @~@

I'm exactly the same way. Looking at too bright of a screen practically kills me. Whenever I use someone else's device I have to turn it down. They don't often appreciate it xD

Depends on your device, really.

Remember that some devices have higher maximum brightness than others, and how OEMs configure their automatic brightness feature also matters.

I'd only keep it if my device is "smart" enought to have it at ideal brightness conditions when it matters, because changing the brightness every now and then is annoying. But since I still haven't had a device with an automatic brightness feature that works as I expect it to, then no I've never had it on.
