At the beginning of development the embryo is being made to be female but then the y chromosome and testosterone develop later to stop the growth of female organs to make the child male and create male organs. That's the best way I can explain it.

none of you are technically right or wrong

it's not so much that you're female until a hormone makes you male as much as it is the gene wasn't activated yet. you don't suddenly gain or change chromosomes in the womb, as soon as you are fertilized, there is a defined biological gender, however, it isn't until a few months into the pregnancy that the hormones in males activate to develop a male body.

also, male humans can lactate, they just typically don't because they usually don't deal the pregnancy hormones that cause lactation.

any male can lactate given exposure to the right hormones, which can be provided in more ways than just externally. prolonged stimulation of the nipples has been found to cause lactation in both genders.
