I'm generally curious on why teens these days rather they play sports or not spend so much money on objects made to step on the dirty floor. Wouldn't it be a better idea to buy a fancy new car than tens of shoes that you'll wear every once in awhile? Then again I'm a bigot that collects glorified dolls for men so what do I know. *shrugs*

I've always wondered myself.

What I feel is as, if not even more ridiculous is the multiple pairs of 20 dollar socks kids buy. They're called elites or something like that

Because they're really nice honestly. I like them because they end up matching what I wear and they're comfortable. Sure they're overpriced, but it is their money I like to wear brand name clothing so

Personally I love my Twinkle Toes and I think they were a great investment.

It's a trend which has lasted for a lot of years now. I was myself captivated by that tendency as well.

im only gonna be buying a pair of shoes to use 24/7 once per few years so why not

I have no idea to be honest, a lot of them look really stupid, like a skrillex concert was performed at a circus.

I would spend a lot of money for shoes that were waterproof, good for running, comfortable to wear in general, and were easy to take care of to prevent them from being put into the garbage.

Because if you don't get nikes or kds you'll get bullied at school (At least that's how it works at my school)

i buy $100 nikes that last a good year + because they're damn good

100 is not a bad price at all for shoes that do their job better than most other shoes i tried

If i find a decent pair, i'd spend a little more but i wouldn't get them just because they're seen as being fashionable.

Almost never interested me buy expensive shoes, luxury or fashionable just for attention or some reason to be popular, I make exceptions when I'm forced, or if given the chance to impress a girl on the first times only. My idea is to buy something comfortable, more or less cute & cool but above all, cheap & useful, then I save a little bit of money for other things.

From personal experience, the ones that do the bullying can't afford them either, so they push the focus onto someone else to make them feel better.

Idk about you, but if you get your shoes dirty in a day, you have problems.

If you have gym every day, then it really isn't that hard. :/

But if you gym every day, wouldn't you already have different shoes specifically to wear for the gym?

I’d like sneakers very much but they are pretty much shoes that have been designed for people with narrow or average foot width so I haven’t found the correct size yet.

The best shoes are of course safety-work boots which have the most efficient long-term usage.
