I've noticed that we haven't been seeing any sales really on the skylanders. Except fro the $25 price drop on the starters. What's the deal?

What? At TRU there have been a few of the normal BOGO 40% off, and on black friday, they will have a BOGO 80% off all skylanders.

Yeah, you aren't paying good attention. TRU also recently had a $10 sale off figures and vehicles, and dark starters for 30% off. I've not had to buy any of mine at full retail, except for store exclusives.

mega spyro, how do you know there'll be an BOGO 80% off sale at TRU? Because if that includes those dual packs, I could buy everything I'm missing for around $35.

You obviously don't visit the Toys and Merchandise forum as many have posted various sales there. Please be more vigilant in visiting that forum before coming over here to complain about a lack of sales. You missed the Amazon price drops where Sea Shadow was down to $6+ and many other vehicles were under $10...the Terrafin dual pack was under $15. There have also been multiple sales where you can get Skylanders Superchargers figures or vehicles for $10 or $11. In fact, TRU is running a 2 for $24 sale today. I'll admit that we haven't seen much sales wise from Best Buy, Target, and Walmart as it seems those stores have either given up on Skylanders sales or aren't willing to dedicate proper ad space to Skylanders. I've seen in the past 45 days that Best Buy has dedicated a huge proportion of their Toys to Life ad space to Disney Infinity above competitors.

This was exactly what I was talking about. I didn't really consider TRU sales because there markups are so high that their sales pretty much equal normal prices at the big boxes. For all of the past games the big boxes did sales on skylanders well before black friday. You need to unwad em before you get off trying to tell me when and where I should post.

Now I had also never considered amazon, which I just looked at today.

PS I soooo hope you were a fan of Ronda Rousey!

Toys r us has had several sales of vehicles at $10 and $11 each. Also had the starter at $39.99.
