~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:CHAPTER ONE:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The pale white mist swirled around Linzey's feet as she stood silently, surrounded by lifeless trees. Her sapphire blue scales gleamed in the bright moonlight. Eyes closed tightly, she cleared her mind determinded to contact the ancestors. These were dark, chaotic times. The Galazy dragon was close to birth which was on the positive side whereas on the negitive side, Darsker, the evil dragon, had most likely sent out his goblins to collect the Galazy dragon.

Deep chuckles disturbed Linzey from her moment. Her eyes pinged open. She glanced around and sniffed the night air. 'Goblins!' she thought. A knot of fear tightend in her stomach, hoping that the Galazy dragon was well protected back at the temple. But what if the Goblins were too good for the other elders?

Figures started to form from the shadows around. They were goblins of many sizes. Linzey arched her back and hissed with threat baring two rows of sharp fangs. She was trapped. The goblins were slowly easing toward her. The only escape was to fly. So with out another thought Linzey lunged into ther air with one beat of her wings. Then suddenly just as she reached the treetops she felt like a cold hand was pulling her down by the ankle. Although it was not a hand but a metal chain. The pack leader of the Goblins had caught her. She flapped her wings franticly desprate to escape! Linzey clunched her teeth with effort.

Unfortinetly the helpless dragon was totally out of energy. The leader goblin gave then chian one more huge tug and Linzey fell to the miost ground with a thud. Some smaller goblins laughed. Linzey's eyes started to water. If the Galzy had met its death or is going to, it was all her fualt. She failed! The leader goblin clicked his grubby fingers instructing his followers to attach more chains to the three remaining dragon legs. Linzey didn't struggle. Like there was any point.

After the goblins had got together to figure out their next move they forced Linzey to stand. It her hurt slightly because her wings ached from a few minuets ago and the chains had started rub against her smooth scales. A sudden gust of wind caused fallen leaves to flutter. The goblins loked up, Linzey too. Nothing was there. The dark patch of of forest they were currently in started to get lighter and lighter. But how? Linzey glanced up again. There was a massive fireball coming thier way.
"Arrrgh!" One the of the goblins yelled. They all scattered. Linzey was free now but moments away from being insinirated. She gathered nearly all of her magic inside of her and created a glowing force feild around her. Hopefully it would protect her from the fireball. She took one look at the starry sky and flintched!

When the bang from the fireball was over Linzey found herself standing i big crator. The force feild slowly faded away as she strted to climb outside of the ditch. Some grey smoke wafted around but it was too bad. Linzey breathed deeply when she reached the straight surface. A lot of her strength had been taken. Her mind was then banging with questions about what cuased all this.

After a short rest Linzey started her way back to temple. It was a slow journey mostly because she was limping and the fact that she couldn't stop but to think that someone was watching her from a distance away. She passed a lake and took some refrshing sips of pure water from it. That certainly soothed her. She knew she shouldn't stay there but her feet were started to swell. So Linzey sat by the lake staring at her dancing reflection.

Moments later the female dragon was beginning to feel tired. Through sleep her powers would return. But the thought of the goblins coming back to get her was scarey. So with her very little body strength she got to her feet twizzled round to started her journey again. However there was another dragon in her presences. She stood froze to the spot, her eyes examing the other dragon without blinking.

"Its okay. Why would I want to hurt you when I just saved you?" The stranger assured. Linzey crossed her eyes in confusion.
"Save me? What do you mean? Who are you?" She questioned.
"I'm Tyco. And that fireball back there...Yeah that was me," he explained. Linzey flared her nostrils.
"Saved me! Save me?! You almost killed me!" She retorted back. Tyco smiled.
"So you'd rather me not shoo those apes away which WERE going to kill you? Come on we have to go, now!" He ordered. Linzey shook her head.
"Where? Why? I can't fly. My wings, ankles and wrists are injured," she replied. Tyco bit his lips thoughtfully.
"Right I see. Err..." he murmed. He started to pace briskly. Linzey watched his every movement.
"We have to get back to temple! You go! I will get there as soon as possible," she exclaimed. Tyco shook his head.
"No you must come too. Ah ha! I know a spell that can make you fly even with out wings," he said hopefully.
"Thank goodness. But why must I go too?" She asked slowly. Tyco ignored this and got straight on with the spell. He whispered a few acient words.
"Okay now try and jump and you will fly." Linzey sprung hardly off her hind legs and wa floating in mid air. Tyco had flown off already. She followed.

It took a while to reach the temple seeing that it wa quite a way away. The two dragons landed gracefully on the temple's blacony and strolled into the grand building. Linzey was gobsmacked. Crack egg remains were scattered all over the floor. Some baby dragons even lay there, dead. Linzey's eyes filled with tears and started to roll down her face. Tyco comforted her by putting his wing over her shaky body.
"Shh. Its okay."
"No! Its not okay!," she shouted. "This is my fualt! I did this! I couldn't get back in time to help!" Tyco sat down.
"If it is any one's fualt it is Not yours. This is a tradgick event. However there is one bright side," he smiled and walked over a lump of grass. Linzey looked curiuosly as Tyco brushed the grass away. Due in that a orange egg started to emurge. Lizeny gasped. Tyco gently placed the egg in his paw and brought it over to Linzey. She nuzzled it.
"But how?" She breathed.
"Well while the goblins were busy with the elders, I sneekily stored it away." Linzey was filled with hope and happiness. The Galazy dragon had survived.
"What are we to do with it?" She asked. Tyco shrugged.
"Yeah about that. I was wondering that maybe...just maybe...you should bring it up into the world." Linzey blinked and and scooped the eggs into her possesion.
"I will. She shall be my duaghter. I will not let any harm come to her," she promised.
