Chapter 1
Mount Wolf stood proudly above all the other mountains. WolfHeart breathed the air in. He had white soft fur and sharp, deep blue eyes. He looked at the sky.
'Why is he always late?' WolfHeart muttered. Suddenly a Hawk flew in and landed on the rock in front of him.
'WolfHeart.' The Brown Hawk greeted. His eyes were yellow and sharp, and had a taste for mischievous adventures.
'You're late!' WolfHeart said.
'So?' HawkEye smirked. WolfHeart ignored this comment.
'What is the news?'
'The Wolves who walk on Two feet and carry sharp sticks with no fur have wiped out the entire Hunting pack.'
'No!' WolfHeart gasped.
'Yeah, and if that's not enough, they've started killing Hawks as well.' Hawkeye looked sadly at the Human's camp.
'Do not fear. They shall not harm any more of you're clan. I promise.' WolfHeart smiled at Hawkeye. 'Come inside. We must give this information to the Wolf Elders.'
'Yes, of Course. The Elders.' HawkEye muttered. The Hawk and Wolf ran into the cave and into a room filled with thousands of Wolves. One old grey wolf sat at the front.
'Elder WiseWolf!' WolfHeart said.
'Do you have news?' Elder WiseWolf asked kindly.
'Yes! Tell them Hawkeye.' WolfHeart turned to his best friend.
'I don't do well in crowds.' HawkEye laughed. 'But anyway, the Humans have wiped out the entire hunting pack. They're keeping the meat to themselves. they're even drinking our water. They've also started killing Hawks.' WiseWolf looked at the thousands of Wolves who were chatting in shock and horror. One brown Wolf stepped forward.
'Elder WiseWolf, what do we do? They are bound to head towards the mountain and try to kill us.'
'They honestly can't outnumber us!' WiseWolf said.
'Actually they do.' HawkEye said.
'What?' WiseWolf cried.
'There's thousands of Wolves yet millions of Humans. They all carry Weapons of Death and terrifying sticks. With sharp things on the end. They call them Spears.' HawkEye wasn't happy to break the news.
'Then it is decided,' one of the Elders, a brown Wolf sitting behind WiseWolf, said, 'We are to go to war!' The Wolf was called WarHeart. He was WolfHeart's Uncle and craved War.
'Well, we shall have to.' WiseWolf said. Many Wolves were outraged by this decision. 'Ii am sorry dear friends but how can we move a whole City away from our only home? We must.' HawkEye gasped.
'Let me guess. Us Hawks will have to fight too?' He asked in horror.
'I am afraid so. Everyone will have to. Women, Children, Men, Hawks... everyone.'

And so it was decided.

Chapter 2
WolfHeart and HawkEye sat outside staring at the sun in shock at their fate.
'They're sentencing us to our Deaths!' HawkEye muttered.
'Yes, but if we die, we die with honour.' WolfHeart said. HawkEye groaned.
'You and your Honour. What's wrong with having no honour? At least we don't die if we run away!' HawkEye wanted to escape desperately, but he would only leave if WolfHeart came with him. He didn't want to live without his best friend.
'HawkEye, for the last time, I'm not leaving. My home is here: Wolf Mountain.' HawkEye looked at the floor sadly. WolfHeart saw he was upset about the fate decided and smiled at him. 'Hey, don't worry. I'll protect you.'
'What if the Humans get me?' HawkEye asked sadly.
'I'll come for you, even if I must walk a thousand Miles.' WolfHeart smirked. 'Come on inside, it's Lunch time.' The two walked inside the great hall and saw Wolves feasting on a range of food. Deer were the most popular. WolfHeart grabbed a piece of Deer and stared hungrily chewing at the meat.
