I'm stuck on the elite enemy in Twilight Falls. Its mask is white with a strip of orange on it, so I've been trying to use the Wind Breath on it and it seems to work (it says "1 Hit" etc.) but its mask doesn't seem to want to come off! Once I hit it with Wind Breath a lot, even having to refill my breath bar several times and its mask still wouldn't come off. Is there some extra trick to it or is my game glitchy?

Try different breaths. It might be fear or one of Spyro's elements. If it still doesn't work, try breathing both of Spyro's and Cynder's elements. (Possibly)

first of all you have to use EARTH breath just jump up and use earth ball and slam on the enemy until the mask comes off then use whatever you want.

try spyros ice breath that might work

You must use Fury-breath, mask come off if you use that. Then mask comes off, you can only use the normal breaths. They work. Try it

what if she doesn't have her fury all loaded up?if you have a spechol whoal set peace of armor,it unlocks fury breath.use the X,O,Triangle,and Squar attacks untill his mask flips off his head,then use the magicle attacks

but it can take sometime to get the mask of but fear is the best

It only works with certain elements

Yeah, after the first 10 or so elite enemies, I started getting the point - each of them are weak to a certain element.

Not just for getting the mask off, but for damaging them as well. I'm not entirely sure, but once I tried this theory, I found it much easier to beat the rest of the elite enemies.

It can take a lot of beating before the mask comes off, though.

If it's no use, however, the fury breath is a good plan B.

match the element to the color of their mask,that's how i defeat them!

do these guys count as bosses??

not really but they are good for leveling up your elements the elite enemies are harder than you avarage enemy, you take more damage from them, theyre weak against a certain element, and they give a lot of exp to either Spyro or Cynder
