The time to get Ninja Strike for free is up; if you haven't gotten spellcards from the TRU blind bags or want to save money, it's time to rescan Spitfire for the spell Nitro Tank!

Strangely though, no new dialogue from Spitfire this time. I guess it's just for the first time you progress in a quest.

Edit: Same deal as SE, get that level 10 card to kick off 2016!

Whole thing is not working well today. So, like you, I had 3/270 today.

I scanned Spitfire. Got the new card to show up (eventually) which is called Nitro Tank. So now my quest shows complete but my collection is still showing 3/270. Its now a visible card but not in collection.

Oh, I see a new update is there, so I update it.

I can now scan Burning Rubber and Trickster's Trap. However, neither are added to the collection and they are not showing the color change.

The only visible difference for this new update apart from being able to seemingly falsely scan these 2 new cards is now Spitfire's quests show as 1/1, not 1/2. Thus, I think whatever this game is doing is now going to be 1/1/2016, not 2/1/2016.

Either way, nothing has worked well today, big disappointment.

Weird. Might be because this is the 'early' version, so the cards can only be scanned when their quest unlocks - December and January as listed.
Try seeing the quest list and clicking the information icon on Spitfire,it should have at least the November quest with a checkmark.

Do you have 4/270 or 3/270? I do show a complete quest, it says 1/1 for Spitfire but it only shows 3/270. Strange they would update the app to allow scanning of the two cards but then not make it work properly to add them. Seems glitchy to me.

4/270, all skylanders with 1/2 complete quests. Did you scan SE last month? It might've not unlocked Ninja Strike even if you have it.

I had 3/270 on 10/31...I had the 3 I needed before today 11/1. Given you have 1/2 and 1/2 instead of my 1/2 and 1/1, maybe you have not updated to the new update today. Either way, I did them the right dates and did not get the 2nd Spitfire one to add to the collection even though its shown in color. Well, nice that someone got the 4/270.

Perhaps folks should not update until they get the new card. Damn company, how hard is it to get this right.

I scanned Spitfire's card and I had 4/270. After I updated, it still shows 4 cards on the screen, but it says "3/270". I also checked the quests, and Spitfire changed from 1/2 to 1/1.

Thanks, am glad my situation was repeated by someone else then. I will try to call them tomorrow perhaps so they are at least aware.

Now I see my Spitfire is back to 1/2 today but I am still at 3/270. Glitchy city. I also now can "add to collection" Burning Rubber and Trickster's Trap but they still do not work doing that. Still have 4 selected in color but only 3 in collection.

My collection and quests are all as it's supposed to be, though today I got a message to scan Spitfire even if I did it already. Weird, being android and an old phone, this should be the glitchiest version.

For what its worth, I did call today and mention those two bugs.

There is a new update today and it fixes everything. The new update today finally fixes glitches. My collection is now 6/270 with Burning Rubber and Trickster's Trap finally scanning and adding to the collection. Also Nitro Tank finally adds to the collection thanks to Spitfire's December quest.

Burning Rubber and Trickster's Trap are either available now in the new mini comic blind packs or you can get them in January and February character quests in the app.

I imagine the whole thing can be defeated by scanning the cards online or a printout, but am talking about the normal way.

So rescanning Stealth Elf today leveled up Ninja Strike to level 10.

Whoo boy. Actually,lemme update the OP,since it's now december and SE's update month.

Bump for awareness - it's the last rescan quest now, after this we only have the full game to look for!
