Does Stratosfear's Storm Striker Have Limited Ammo?

I've noticed something unusual when racing as Stratosfear. He is able to fire roughly five rounds of his primary attack before depleting his ammo, and even when it refills, he can't use it again. Also, his secondary seems to do nothing at all. Does this mean the Storm Striker has limited ammo, or is it a glitch in the game? For reference, I have the Wii U version.

The villain weapons do tend to use up more ammo due to how much more powerful they are than other vehicle weapons, dealing around 100 damage I believe.

Also, his secondary attack leaves electric orbs behind him.

Yes, but both of his weapons become unusable after only ~5 rounds. Surely that can't be intentional. smilie

YES!!! I'm so glad someone noticed. I only played as him once and I was so confused , I had no idea what was going on lol. Still managed to come first through the villain cup though lol .

His secondary attack is glitched and when you use it you can't even use his primary attack until you die.
