Favorite Supercharger Design?

Which Supercharger do you think has the most thought out and creative design? Which one do you think looks the best? Etc.

I personally love Fiesta's design. It pulls from cultural references such as Dia de Los Muertos and the mariachi bands of Spanish culture. I find it very well thought out and highly creative.

Your turn.

Personally, all of the new Skylanders have a good design (even some revamps have), but my favorites are Fiesta, Spitfire, Splat, Smash Hit and Astroblast. Maybe Nightfall too.

Dive-Clops has the best design, overall.
Rather unusual from V.V. and I love it!

I also really like Spitfire, Nightfall and Hight Volt.
Splat is cool too. smilie

they all look pretty cool ( even Eruptor )....but my faves would be Stealth Elf, Nightfall, Splat, Dive-Clops, Roller Brawl and Spitfire. I also REALLY love Hammer Slam Bowser ( what can I say, I've always been a huge Nintendo geek )

Spitfire looks great, with that mixture of energy and physical form. I also love thrillipede, he looks like a pixar character.

Just onle little thing: Fiesta's a very well representative of The Mexican culture as he is dressed as a mariachi, but be aware that the "Spanish Culture" only concerns the european country Spain, which has not mariachis and dia de los muertos. Sure, there are certain things in common between Central-South America and Spain (the language for instance, except Brazil) but they are different cultures and countries.

Hmmm, well design-wise I'd say Splat. The idea with the paintbrush and color being wielded by a faun is pretty creative. Though Nightfall is also very well made, especially the hair.

So true, thrillipede does look like a Pixar character.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention, I wasn't sure if it they had started in Spain or Mexico. Although, Mexico was a Spanish colony. smilie As for Dia de Los Muertos, I didn't mean to say that it was from Spanish influence because I do know that it started with Aztec traditions and is a predominantly Mexican holiday.

Stormblade is the first and will probably be the only female Skylander with an outfit that has a frontal pattern, which looks like the bottom part of a leotard. That is one of my reasons why I love Stormblade (that and throwing feather blades that resemble to kunai).

For me, Stormblade looks more a Pixar character. Her face, mainly.

Agree, and so does Dive-Clops (don't ask me why).

Thrillipede looks more like a DreamWorks character.
Can't say I don't like his design but... He's dangerously close to being more creepy than awesome... And not in a Ghost Roaster's way.

Those eyes... X/

Thrillipede is very strange. Mainly his Easter variant. I wonder what the developers are thinking when they made him.

Thrillepede's artwork look bad. I'm eager to see his real-life figure to see how it actually looks like.

I was thinking about something yesterday: what if his figure form has some kind of metallic/pearlized paint on it (kinda like Dune Bug but more green than blue/purple)?

Look at this in-game shot:

[User Posted Image]

You can spot some blue shadings on his exoskeleton.
Hope they will do something like that but definitely in a subtle way compared to what they did for Dune Bug.

The thing we can see from the CG figure image is that his exoskeleton is glossy, but it doesn't show any king of blue color change.

I wouldn't take CG figures that much for granted.

Even without considering extreme cases (Smash Hit and Astroblast come to mind), other examples show that the pose (High Volt), the material (Spitfire) or the paint (Splat) can change a lot compared to the final product.

I love thrillipede's design, they finally humanize an animal-like character. Other superchargers feel a bit too monstruous for my personal tastes.

it seems a bit inspired by that glasses look which has been lately used by pixar and universal:
