If darkness never exsisted,

would light exsist?

If prophecies never exsisted,

would he live?

So we witness the shadow of both good and evil...

Chapter 01: ''Truth Never Lasts Long...''

'No! Never!'
'You cannot fight it...'
'Cynder!'

Thunder screamed from the skies as Spyro awoke. His tail grew straight as he felt sounds coming from the roof of the Dragon Temple. He closed his eyes. The sound went clearer.

Plat! Plat! Plat!

''Thank goodness it's rain...'' Spyro said. Ever since his battle against Malefor, peace seemed to settle in. He got up, slowly wandering around the Temple. Spyro remained calm, it was just rain, not some kind of Orc. Yet he felt far away, he felt like floating in the upmost clouds. Is he dead? It didn't seemed like a place Ancestors would reaside.

''Spyro...you have grown, young one.''

Eyes rested upon the scared dragon. Light bursted like a fissure. Eyes. Slit eyes came from the shadows. A head emerged, along with a torso and body. It remained fiery red. Wings speard out. It nearly crashed the pillars supporting the Temple. Next came the wing membranes. They seemed orange or red, It was hard to tell.

''Ignitus!'' Spyro cried. ''But you're gone!'' Ignitus seemed amused. With his tail, he beckoned him close, the smile fading away. ''Spyro...young dragon, your and Cynder's time has ended.'' He told him.

''What do you mean?''

Ignitus felt discouraged. He was too young! But still. The Ancestors depended on it. ''There will be a time, when you will be exiled from dragonkind, and darkness is the only way to escape.'' He said.

Cold wind met them. The wind blew on Spyro's eyes, causing him to blink. Ignitus was gone. ''Wait! Come back!'' He cried. A sheer blanket of malice overlapped him.

''Spyro! Wake up!''
