In this beautiful land filled with many, many Pokémon thrives as there has been peace for many hundreds of years. The Pokémon are generally content and yet, peace has made them soft. The situation has been escalating over the past years and tensions are strained between certain clans, tribes, towns or whatever. And there’s no one to stop these punks that just fight to hurt other Pokémon. Something has to be done. Are you gonna do it despite you’ve never trained a day in your life? Are you going to join them in their carnage of this world to prove that X type is the best?

- Name: Star Age: 17 Species: Pikachu Gender: Female Appearance: [credit to original artist] Future Moveset: Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Quick Attack, Electro Ball Backstory: Star has lived a pretty peaceful life in her village until the 'my type is the best' conflict. She's been in some arguments and some fights, but since she's had no experience, she can't do much. Other: Star has a red bow attached to the bottom of her left ear. - Name: Amicia Age: 15 Species: (Shiny) Whimsicott Gender: Male Appearance: [credit to original artist] Future Moveset: Solar Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Energy Ball, Protect Backstory: Amicia lives in small town outside of a forest. Name: Pancake
Age: 16 Species: Spinda Gender: Female Appearance: Future Moveset: Ability - Own Tempo. Moves - Teeter Dance, Flail, Protect, Helping Hand Backstory: Ever since she was an egg, Pancake has lived in a young mountain settlement with various other types of Pokémon. The sheltered nature of this mountainous region caused the young Spinda to be indifferent to the war going on outside between multiple factions of Pokémon. Not knowing personal identity and always considering herself to be part of a greater body, everything was perfect in her little home. This was until the uprising truly started within Kragrok, her village. Pokémon began to become unsettled, fights began to happen and people began to leave. In other words, something was up and this broke Pancake. She snuck out of the walls of her village unnoticed every dusk, trying to find lost friends or find answers but she was left fruitless. This was until one night while she was out, when she saw an old friend. A Mankey of an age just older than her, beating a tree in rage. She called out to him, in the sweetest manner she could, but as Mankeys are stubborn Pokémon it ran at her in fury. She thought it was the end for her, scared and lonely, until another Spinda came to her rescue. He dropped a golden pendant with a swirl on it which landed on her belly, and fought off the Mankey deep into the forest. Not knowing what to do, Pancake grabbed the pendant and ran. This set off something within Pancake, noticing how this unseen-before Pokémon has came to her aid. She pondered daily and nightly over how this Spinda was different from her - his spot pattern was different, sure, but he was braver. Just... Different. She became more aware of the world around her and finally realised what was going on and therefore realised that she needed to help stop it. Thus, Pancake visited the village Elder, an old Torkoal known as just simply 'Elder', and planned her leave. Saying goodbye to friends and family that all remained, she left on a journey of discovery with a bindle full of nutricious berries and her right paw wrapped keenly around the swirl pendant that otherwise swung freely around her neck. Her goal? To find out what was going on, to help innocent Pokémon like she was once helped and to find the Spinda who saved her life. Other: "Naive" nature. Does not like to fight herself, instead relies on others but is a very useful ally in terms of battle support, foraging and observation. =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Name: [Princess] Serenity* Age: 21 Species: Gardevoir (Shiny) Gender: Female Appearance: Credit to original artists - my tablet isn't working so I can't draw her right now, might do later. If she is ever allowed to Mega-Evolve. (I don't want her to be Mary-Sue, after all). Additional notes: She wears a black cloak with a hood whenever she's on the down-low. She also wears an orange rose in her hair, on the right side. Future Moveset: Ability - Synchronise Moveset - Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Hidden Power [Fire] Backstory: For years, the large kingdom of Bruston flourished under the rule of the Ralts Evolutionary Line royal family. Peace, as aforementioned, was the dominant state of being. Princess Serenity Gardevoir had a spectacular hatching. The whole kingdom gathered out in the front of their houses to watch her hatch, her parents gleefully watching on as the sparkling egg cracked. When she arrived into the world, the whole kingdom was shocked. The first shiny Pokémon to bless the royal family in hundreds of years. Parties rocked the streets day and night. Creatures of all types came together and celebrated this glorious occasion. Now, being a shiny, Serenity far surpassed her older brothers' claim to the throne and for this they envied and bullied her through her childhood. What did not aid the situation was how locked away she was. A private royal 'tutor' visited her weekly and she spent most of her time practicing singing, or dancing, or painting, or learning how to assist the common Pokémon. Because of this, she never knew true friendship or love, her parents visited her seldom and her siblings hated her. On her 18th birthday, she finally matured into a Gardevoir much like her mother. Except she wasn't like her mother, she was much more beautiful and graceful. All that she needed to become the most beautiful Pokémon in the world was a Gardevoirite, a gift that was bestowed upon her by her parents. It made her uncomfortable. As she was older now, she was forced to attend royal meetings and balls, to find her a suitable mate. Serenity was forced to mega-evolve every time these festivities were held and she grew to loathe everything, but kept a strong front and never rebelled against the King and Queen. Needless to say, she pushed away all suitors until on her 21st birthday she was promised to some weakling prince from another kingdom in a completely different region. She knew that her parents only did this to create a stronger relationship with the other kingdom (of the name she could not remember) and to make the weakling prince look that much more handsome stood next to Serenity. But something else also began to rise on her 21st birthday. A stupid, upper-class Pokémon who owned a chunk of the kingdom released a 'caste-system' of types, starting the type rebellion in the once peaceful kingdom. The type rebellion started to rip the kingdom of Bruston from the inside out. Reasons for this also circled around the Princess Serenity - why was it okay for her to be treated with such importance while common shiny Pokémon were tossed aside, oppressed, beaten, starved, killed? This was the main drive for the racism of the Pokémon type system. Being protected and sheltered so much had its benefit, however. Serenity was given her own safe way out of the kingdom in the dead of night, when the rebellion reached the castle's walls. She left, with a black hood and her Gardevoirite as a memory, fearing for her life. She never turned back, but she could hear the crackling of fire as she fled. The last thing she did within a mile of her kingdom, when she was safe in the forest, was crush the Gardevoirite under her feet. The magical power, like her, was now released. She tied the broken fragments together with a thin rope she wove out of leaves and tied it around her neck, and she left her kingdom forever - scared and alone. Other: She wears broken fragments of a Gardevoirite around her neck. Being a princess of a once glorious kingdom, she is prone to attempts of kidnapping or anything worse - she severely lacks trust because of this. Also, being who she once was, she is not exactly mastered in the arts of fighting so her psychic abilities are very hit-or-miss. At least, until she develops them. Speaking in a very matter-of-fact and pronounced accent doesn't help her trying not to be recognised either. She is also an awful liar. *Goes by the name 'Ruffles' to prevent recognition as much as possible but it's not exactly the most common name, so it would cause suspicion to any Pokémon with half a brain anyway. OOC: New character later if I feel like it, if that's okay! And shorty is dumb (but her characters are cool).

shorty is a nerd
biggest nerd award 2k15 im so ready to rp these stupid characters so here they are Name: Quincy Age: 13-ish* Species: Feebas Gender: Male Appearance: Future Moveset: Splash, Tackle, Flail, and Dragon Pulse* Backstory: Quincy, like almost all of his kind, is immensely stupid and ugly. He spent the majority of his life in a shallow lake with a small community of equally ugly, stupid Feebas, all being ugly and stupid together. Being the fish-brained creatures they are, the school of Feebas were able to keep themselves alive only barely. In fact, probably the only thing that was pretty great about their circumstance, though they didn't understand it, was that another Pokemon came around regularly and tossed some food in for the fish-pokemon to gobble up. All they knew was that sometimes munchies rained down out of the sky from their weird crescent-shaped food-giver. Quincy and his fishy companions didn't understand the danger they were in, however!Their very sturdy biological composition helped the situation, but what didn't help the whole survival thing was the fact that their lake was drying up! Or, well, that's all their tiny brains could understand. What actually was happening was that construction of a dam was in progress upriver at a wide lake, where the water was stronger and flooded a small village of much more intelligent Pokemon who didn't enjoy tromping around in soggy ground and having their homes knocked over. Thankfully for Quincy, the food-giver arrived as a savior! Or, well, a normal Pokemon that felt kind of bad for the Feebas flailing around in very shallow water and making weird noises showed up. His lovely savior in shining white armor now carries him around in a bubble of water with psychic powers, constantly telling him to stop making weird faces. He, personally, likes the attention, and tries to do tricks. This sometimes angers the food-giver savior, for reasons Quincy will never comprehend. Other: He always talks in third person, and worse often can't even complete a sentence. He is really, truly, just that unintelligent. *: He's pretty stupid, so he doesn't have a full grasp on his own moves(literally just splashes continuously), doesn't know his own name very well(most often responds best to being called 'Q'), and his word for his age can't be trusted(he sometimes claims he's 13, and sometimes claims he's 27... or just says he forgets). Name: Vieno Age: 19 years Species: Lunatone Gender: Genderless, but accepts male pronouns Appearance: Future Moveset: Moonblast, Psychic, Stone Edge, Cosmic Power Backstory: Vieno has heard about it all. He's heard about when all Pokemon weren't immensely racist about types, he's heard about when they were. Only heard, though, as he usually prefers to stay in his little cave out of the way of all the nonsense that is the world. Politics is not what he favors. It was rare for him to leave his cave-home. However, he always found it calming to travel down to a nearby pond and feed the Feebas there, as he found their dumb little faces charming. He was fine living his life, enjoying the simple things in life. He wasn't much of a fan of other pokemon, and often found them more tiring than entertaining. And sometimes, some part of him felt the twinge of disdain for the other types, despite his attempts to stay out of the conflict. But even he agreed deep down inside that the water-types were generally fish-brained, flying types were stupid enough to run into windows, fire types needed to put a lid on it, dark-types needed to get out of their goth phase, and bug-types should all just stop being so gross, etc. However, when the dam was built, and his fish friends left to flop around helplessly, Vieno had the feeling that he couldn't just stay out of this sort of thing forever. That, and he liked having weird almost-pets. So he took one fish from the pond with him to set out on an adventure, to find other pokemon that he could hopefully stand to be around and maybe they could be equally as judgmental so they have something in common! A true, epic quest, and one that's far out of his comfort zone. He's immensely stressed about it. Other: Vieno is very weak and tired during the daytime, and will often get grouchy on top of his already easily-stressed self. He also really dislikes bug-type pokemon, which gross him out despite his status as a certified rock.

The loud rumblings and loud noises were heard. Metal screeched and water splashed as in an open field surrounded by forest, another fight broke out. This time was Water types vs. Steel types. The onslaught of Water Guns and Surfs from Marill, Wishcash, and Swampert shoved at the iron defenses of Laireon, Aggron, Mawile's and Scizors.

Amicia was floating through his little village, staying on the sides of the street, trying to avoid any pokemon that weren't a Fairy Type or a Grass or Fairy type. He was on his way to buy some food where he heard some type of rumbling noise. It was quite faint, but Amicia decided to see where it was coming from, and hoped it wasn't near his home. The shiny Whimsicott floated past the stalls in the village and reached the outskirts, where the line of buildings along the main road stopped. He saw some dust rising from somewhere in the forest, and it wasn't too far from the forest borderline. He sighed and turned around, floating back into the village and proceeding to buy some food. |

A loud rumble from the forest. While the fighting went on in the woods of Steel v Water, another chaotic thing was happening as well. A Tyrantrum with 3 Tyrunts, a Golem, and a Probopass stomped along the road. They looked like they were headed towards the little village up ahead. They did not look like they were just friendly traveling merchants.

Serenity, who was in the small village, had stayed overnight in an attempt to try and safely recalibrate her short-term plans. It wasn't working however as she barely had a Pokémon dollar for herself anymore, but yet also did not feel comfortable trading certain things that she owned. Because of this, she now had little and basic resources to work with. Leaving the inn she managed to scrounge up enough berries to trade for a night in, the Gardevoir heard the sound of isolated fighting. Serenity tightened the grip on her cloak when the rumbles got louder, dust beginning to force small coughs out of her as it gathered from the distant kerfuffle.
A bad feeling suddenly shocked her entire body, rendering her a little bit weak in the legs from pure mental discomfort. Making an effort to shake it off, she shuffled towards the market to allow her some quick thinking time. 'I've got a horrible feeling about something... I don't feel like I should stay here much longer...' she thought, when suddenly a Shiny Whimsicott caught her eye. 'Wait... another Shiny? And a Grass plus Fairy type at that... If I could just reach out to them, perhaps I could find an impeccable ally within them...' Serenity wondered, her feet involuntarily beginning to track the Whimsicott at an unsuspicious distant. If she wanted to reach out to this Pokémon she would first have to assure herself that he was not going to be a threat.

Amicia floated in front of the stall, looking down at the berries scattered across the table. After picking a few, he placed them in his basket and handed the grass type behind the stall a few coins. "Thank you," Amicia replied, smiling gently. He then turned and floated along the road, heading back home. He saw a glint of something light blue on the road ahead, but didn't think much of it.
Star was walking along a forest path, heading to a small village that was at the edge of the forest. Near the path was a clearing, and in the clearing were two groups of pokemon, one group being steel type, and other group being water type. Star watched a little bit, but kept walking, knowing it would be useless to interfere and try to stop them. She hopped that there were no fights happening in the village she was heading towards. |

The village was peaceful and quiet, totally oblivious to what was about to happen. However, the Tyrantrum and his crew were stomping their way towards the village, disregarding everything in their path. They would reach the village in about three minutes.
A small Eevee limped through the village. His left hind leg was badly bruised and there were cuts and scrapes all over him. One eye was shut, black and blue. He made it almost to the middle of the small town and then collapsed under the strain of exhaustion.

Amicia continued floating along the village road. In the corner of his eye, he saw movement and turned his head, seeing a small Eevee limp a few steps, and then fall to the ground.
The shiny whimsicott hesitated for a moment, before quickly floating over. Despite the 'types-hating-other-types' conflict, the Eevee was hurt and needed help. Amicia floated down to him, landing on his little legs and bending down to the Eevee. "Are you okay?" he asked gently. |

"H-He's coming. G-Get everyone....out..." the little Eevee gasped out but didn't move otherwise. He looked like he was having difficulty breathing. His fur was matted and dirty and there was hair missing and tufts that didn't stick up right.
And all the while, the thumping of Tyrantrum's crew began to be heard. And it was growing louder, louder, and louder.

"Who is coming?" Amicia asked. He heard some faint thumps, becoming louder, and looked up the road, but didn't see anything. He turned back to the Eevee and bent down, carefully trying to pick him up. "I'm taking you to my house to get you fixed up." He began to float in the air again, and with one last glance on the road ahead, he turned and floated, as fast as he could, back to his home.

"N-No. W-Warn...v-village. He'll...destroy...everything." The Eevee moaned, quite delirious. Probably the blood loss was affecting him too.
The Tyrantrum reached the village with his gang and inhaled deeply. "This village now belongs to ME!" He roared, and with that roar, he used Fire Blast at the front of the village and used another on the nearest house. Tyrantrum used Earthquake, shaking the whole town. Then, the rest of his crew got to work. The Probopass used Zap Cannon on every passerby pokemon he saw. The Golem used Rockslide. The Tyrunts began looting whatever they found valuable, and Biting anyone who got in their way. Screams and horror filled the air. Pokemon scrambled around trying to escape the chaos.

Amicia zipped around, still holding the eevee, and saw the larger pokemon begin to destroy the town. He let out a little scream and began panicking, swaying from side to side as he floated. "I think the village knows now!" he said after hearing the Eevee speak. "My type is only good against ground types, not rock types!" He continued panicking, not sure whether to try stand up against the gang, or fly back to his home and help the injured Eevee.

"Then it's...too late." The eevee cried. He looked up blearily and saw as the destruction began. Terror filled his eyes as his past replayed out before him. He tried to move a little but failed to do so. The Eevee was so hungry and badly injured he could barely move.

Amicia decided he would be no match against the pokemon gang destroying the village. He rushed home, carrying the little Eevee, hoping some of the town's strongest pokemon would be able to defeat the gang.
There was a little hill to the west of the town, and Amicia's home was on that, along with a few others. The Whimsicott burst inside and lay the Eevee down on his couch, scanning his eyes over him. "I've got some leaves to use as bandages," he murmured. "What else hurts? Just the places where your wounds are? Are you hungry? Or thirsty?" |

Some fought, but most ran. And those who did try to fight the gang usually did not meet with much success. Houses were being smashed apart and burned while pokemon scattered about. I'm pretty sure you could probably hear the maniacal laughter of the Tyrantrum smacking the village chief against a tree.
The Eevee blinked in and out of consciousness. "Water..." He murmured. The wounds were mostly around his sides and his face. His ear was torn a little. The rest seemed slightly bruised.

Vieno was quite tired of all the sounds of rumbling from the forest. He'd been travelling all night to get to this town that was out of the way in hopes of avoiding any stupidity, and yet here the trees were shaking like someone was having a tantrum. All he wanted to do was get in the shade and snooze, but he needed somewhere to put Quincy. There hadn't been any convenient pools of water, so he'd have to go into town and ask for a bucket to plop the fat fish into.
He was exhausted at this point, the daylight taking its toll on him as he floated down the path that led up to the town. Lunatone were almost never seen in daylight, and even then Lunatone weren't usually taken to nicely because of their rumored abilities to instill paralyzing fear or induce sleep on those who stare them directly in the eye. Needless to say, as he floated his way into the town, nobody looked at him and nobody said a word. Some part of him was rather glad he wasn't being given any unwanted attention. However, only a few short moments after his arrival, he heard the sound of crashing and burning wood. A booming voice was declaring some absurd claim of ownership over the entirety of the town. He noticed other Pokemon shuddering as he assumed the earth itself shook, the crashing footstep of whomever the culprit was no doubt being the source. The public began to panic. Screams of horror filled the air as Pokemon scrambled to and fro attempting to hide from the new conflict. Vieno was unimpressed with the display, only wanting his bucket of water. He calmly hovered his way from one side of the street to the other, his fish-friend wiggling in his blob of water, distressed from the sudden activity. The Lunatone, with the type of calm that only comes from a sincere lack of care for the world, checked along the streets for an empty bucket to use. However, with all the panic and smaller Pokemon looting shops and houses, it was nearly impossible to focus on any particular. "Excuse me?" he asked into the midst of panicking Pokemon attempting to put out fires and hide from the attackers, "Does anyone happen to have a spare bucket? Maybe?"

About half the village was wrecked and on fire. The other half was partly on fire and about to be wrecked. Things did not look that well for the poor villagers. The villager's best fighters laid sprawled, defeated and fainted. A Tyrunt went up to the Lunatone and jumped and used Bite on Vieno. It was just in a crazed bloodrage. A few other Tyrunt noticed Vieno and began running towards the rock too.

"Water...o-oh yes..." Amicia broke off, immediately spinning around and floating over to a little stone pond in the room. He grabbed a bowl, filled it with water from the pond, and rushed back over to the little eevee. "Here." He placed the bowl beside the eevee on the couch, and then rushed into the backroom to get some leaves to cover his wounds.
