I don't know if anyone has posted this here yet, but here is a great Skylanders infographic. It was recently updated too!

Wow, 3 places climbed with Superchargers, that's pretty good.
Also the thing about Buzz stealing Eon's sock makes no sense because they didn't live next to each other before the Hydra nuke, but jokes I guess.

This information is dubious. Incredibly vague and void of specific measurements...mostly aggregate information. Proof will be in unit sales--if they were so proud...maybe they should've communicated that.
This is simply a marketing announcement about the overall standing of Skylanders the franchise. It does not speak to the health of this entry relative to its peers. The Nintendo collaboration means nothing to any fan that doesn't have a Nintendo platform. So much for system-wide availability.... But by all means, Activision....GIVE YOURSELF a pat on the back. |

Hard to believe that, considering I was reading the latest issue of Game Informer, which they reviewed LD and SSC. Here's the scores given by Game Informer:
LD: 8.75 SC: 6.25 No review for DI 3.0 was present

It was more of a notable achievements for the franchise, then bragging. I think having a collaboration with Nintendo is a big deal, even if it doesn't affect all players. But I do agree that units sold will be the best measure of the game's success.

Acti does like most smart gamers do and doesn't really take reviews for granted. Same way GI seemed to have a phobia of the word 'vehicle', most other outlets gave it an 8 or 8.5. It's there on the front page of DS for all to see. They'll look at sakes same way most of us were experiencing it firsthand on release.

As Mark Twain is quoted, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." Cannot believe anything without proper context. I'm sure one of the four will soon be bragging that they are the best selling or fastest raising yadda yadda for whatever reason. Basically you can make yourself sound the best without any context.

DI 3.0 received, from Game Informer, an 8.
Reasons Game Informer rated SSC low: low quality graphics, moderately high replay, but most..... Too much gimmick, not enough gameplay like SSA to SSF. TT and SSC rely too much on the gimmick, thus putting older figures out to pasture

Ok... I won't even comment on graphics... I mean... If they think Infinity 3.0 has better graphics than SuperChargers, they probably need some glasses.
But I can see why they criticized gameplay... Gimmick is indeed a bit too much prominent this time. Trap Team was nowhere near SuperChargers from that point of view, though but it indeed lacked replay value, something which SuperChargers has. However it does lack new faces to be played... But a certain Portal Master power kinda makes up for that... ![]()

Other reviewers, with 8s and 9s - Great balanced gimmick, low requirement for 100%, graphics are amazing. See how things change when you have the confirmation bias out of the way? SO PLEASE don't use reviews as standards for a game's sucess. They're not here to be fair, they're here to get that sweet AAA company money; and even the legit ones have to play this for a living and won't really have the best judgement depending on when they do it. I'd rather hear it from fans, not from random strangers, even if I don't agree with them.
