Help with Wifi racing issue (I'm on Wii U)

I want to race online but when I accept others requests I keep getting notifications I cant. I try to go to the regular lobby and no one is there. Can someone help

I... wish I could help. Honestly, the only time I raced online I got three strangers who all dropped out like three seconds after the race started, so needless to say I think Supercharger's online racing system thing is a little whacked.
