Has anyone had success trading in just the game and portal at any retailers? With so many figure variants it may leave some of us with extra copies of the game.
Amazon lists the trade in value as $50 for perfect condition and $40 for acceptable. I wonder if a missing Hot Streak or Spitfire would count as acceptable.

EBay is your best bet. Amazon would not allow a trade in without the missing figures since the starter pack item listing states that the item contains the figures (they won't break it down and sell the "pieces" of the starter pack separately for you).
