So ive been thinking, maybe she could be a walmart? made a photo to see what it could look like. its fan made not an official photo. what do you guys think, retail exclusive?

i would guess toysrus or gamestop. from what ive seen and heard wallmart is very very hit n miss, some have alot some have nothing.

These will possibly come in packs. I don't know why it's always being dodged.

The pick honestly is great but I think she will be bunched in a triple pack with the other power blues. I'd say because of triple pack 1 that She will be an Amazon exlusive.

According to the variant thread, yes, there is. All of the in game palettes are "confirmed," and Power Blue Double Dare Trigger Happy is on that list.

Walmart would probably make the most sense for Power Blue figures. I mean, Walmart's main color is blue, and their last exclusive figures I believe were Swap Force's enchanted variants...

I hope it's not walmart they handle exclusives so poorly.

First of all, Power Blue Splat looks like Sadness, only without the sad part, which I enjoy most. Secondly, when will this rare variant come to Walmart?

I hope it is walmart. They always have tons of stick on their exclusives. That seems to be all they put out when one is released. Walmart exclusives are always figures you can wait 6 or 12 months or longer aND they will still have them in the store

There's really no reason to be speculating right now as to which retailer will have these. It serves no purpose as NOBODY has credible information at this time. And to those worried about stock, do a little research and tell me which retailer exclusive Skylanders figures have been in short stock or difficult to find upon release since the Giants era. People worry for no reason whatsoever!

LOL Normally I wouldn't worry, but I fear them pulling Amiibo over on us and making figures near impossible to get without paying three times the price for it. Knowing which retailer has it would make my nerves a bit easier, especially if it's a Walmart as they'll have dozens for months.

I mean, I want my Smurfy Splat figure as much as I wanted my Crimson Ninjini years ago. I'm really hoping she is not an employee holiday gift variant, a rare special event figure like Pearl Hex or even this years replacement for crystal clear chase figures. I'll go and repaint a normal Splat and rechip her if she ends up being that rare! I already have plans to repaint one to look the dark gothic looking Splat found in the library part of the game, so doing a blue one up wouldn't be any harder. LOL

I am going to say that they are Walmarts Black Early Thursday and Friday release. Walmart always has has things in the past for black friday for skylanders and I am sure that this is going to be there in the triple pack of splat her boat along double dare trigger happy. You just wait and see. Walmarts are blue and so are they and it makes perfect since.

I will have to remember that, if I can't get it at the Walmart 30 minutes away. I tried the ship to store a few years back and they canceled my order twice, I closed my account and gave them an earful. I really don't want to create another account for 1 exclusive. I am putting my money on the fact that Walmart is not getting an exclusive since they obviously put their interest into DI and Lego right now.

I have absolutely no idea which store here would carry the Power Blue variants as exclusives. EB Games has Dark Editions and (assumedly) Elites, Big W has Legendaries, Target isn't exactly the place to carry a blue-themed exclusive, and Toys R' Us no longer sells any video games full stop. As for Kmart...well, they've not exactly been an ideal source for Skylanders, nor have they carried exclusives in the past. It's just as confusing trying to work out who'll carry ...

EB is owned by Gamestop, so they would have dark editions. Elites this year are TRU i believe. Big W....no idea what that is...but legendary skylanders are usually a TRU exclusive. My TRU still has a HUGE game selection and offers much space for all 4 toys to life games. K Mart has died almost every where i have been from DE down to GA.

My K-Mart has one Sheep Wreck Island, an open Night Shift and some "discounted" SF starters ($74......real big discount.) They never put out TT and haven't put out SC yet and most likely won't.

Amazing......a store worse than Walmart.

Kmart has gotten out of the video game business. I believe Swap Force was the last game they carried. I found a Tower of Time pack at a local Kmart on clearance for like $7-8 a few months back, but it was very clearly old stock that had been collecting dust. Most Kmart stores have zero old video game stock left. The fact that Sears/Kmart (same ownership) have completely gotten out of video gaming must mean that they smell the end is near for the company. As a poorly mismanaged company, they chose to give up on selling video games rather than do proper marketing/sales to move merchandise and remain competitive.

So did you ever actually shop there regularly? In recent memory? It doesn't sound like it, as I did up until a year or so ago and noticed that they did nothing BUT marketing and sales--my inbox, mailbox and local papers were always full of their ads and discounts. They just couldn't get their price points down below Walmart and Target. Having worked in purchasing, I know that that typically comes from not being able or willing to purchase enough stock at one time (or over the course of a business relationship with a particular publisher or distributor) to get low enough back end costs to justify the sale prices. You can argue all you want about "drop the price to nothing, lose money on an item, people will come," but loss leaders (the term for items that stores sell below their own cost to generate customer traffic) won't help a business if those are the only things people are buying. Sears and Kmart have definitely lacked strong, competent management over the past decade or two, but as people weren't shopping there anyway, competing with Walmart, Target, GameStop, etc. in a manner you approve of wouldn't have boosted sales enough to matter.

Also, on a lighter note, "poorly mismanaged?" Does this mean that you believe they're actually a successful chain, or that you could have mismanaged them better?

Big W is a major department store chain here in Australia. Since Toys R' Us stores stopped selling Skylanders products, Big W is now the exclusive home of Legendary Skylanders.

Kmart in the USA is all but extinct, and should be; a lot of people in the USA refer to them as Krap-Mart due to their poor selection of anything, the dismal disrepair of the store, and of course the most classic, the un-knowledgeable about anything employees. K-Mart in America was once the go to store, back in the 80s, maybe 70s (cant be for sure), but when Walmart and Target and others came to town, K-Marts as a whole went to krap.

Yes this is the Australian Kmart. They've recently my local store, which makes it seem so much flashier, but they've still got the same products. I like kmart as I can also find clothes I like there and the clothes are cheap. I don't go there for Skylanders though, they lack in them. Unless I'm after a certain Skylander I will go there, last year I found two yawn traps there, the last two as well. The other one I got from Target which was also the last one, so I was pretty lucky.
