I am not saying it happend, just what to do when it does happen.

if it's on deviantart then get a ton of people to report it and hope the staff actually does something (they don't care at all about art theft)

another protip: don't post on deviantart at all

DeviantART is easier than tumblr. I'd rather put the filter on and get through dozens of bad OCs to find what's worth it than wade through hunderds of **** that isn't art on the specific tag. When tumblr works,and doesn't just give me posts from 2011 that loop.

File a DMCA claim. And only show your WIP (Work In Progress) pieces as screenshots or to a person you 100% because they know how to art on their own. But also watermark your works. It helps you get a take down on the work easier since people are gonna not notice or they can't remove it.
