Does some stuff like this bother you? how the look in the toy form then when you upgrade them there looks are not the same i also wish you can get all upgrades than choose its hard but some skylanders i don't like how there are different color or has "better" looking weapons after you upgrade and it not a variant like highvolt.

Could you repeat that with punctuation? Just teasing but I don't exactly know what you mean either. Are you talking about Trap Team characters where thier weapons change and become spikey when you level them to 20? I wasn't aware that this happens to SuperChargers too.

I know that Lightcore Star Strike changes colors in game. And there is a high portal master rank feature in SC that can make your characters glow, but that's about it for characters looking different that I'm aware of.

Yeah, a lot of Skylanders have really annoying appearance changes during their upgrade path. The problem comes from the fact that Skylanders are very clearly designed with their original appearance in mind, since that is what the toy looks like, while the upgraded appearances are clearly just tacked on later in development.

It's really unfortunate, because they put so much effort into getting a Skylander to look aesthetically pleasing (whether it be in a cool way, a cute way, or a funny way) only for the Skylander's final appearance to have some weird change that throws it all off.

I like how SSA (and maybe Giants? I forgot) focused on the upgrade animation so you see the change, instead of being mostly covered up by the UI.

If we're talking about ugly upgrades, Scratch is definitely one of the top contenders. I like the ruby/sapphire claws, the rest is just a mishmash.

I remember right when it was coming out that a lot thought they removed it. This game actually has a lot more of it. I personally don't mind it. Just irony.

I wonder, has anyone made a list of all the known appearance changes that all of the SuperChargers go through?

Nightfall probably has record time for appearance change - her FIRST upgrade gives her double hooks, though of course you're not obligated to buy them in order.

High volt changes colors on his armor even before the path split. And we all know about spitfire. I don't mind either, especially I think the spitfire change looks good on the dark version, which I have.

Yep, I hate it. The worst is Rattle Shake, because you have to change his appereance if you want to fully upgrade him and they even give him a variant which gets ruined?!?! That doesn't make any sense!

Thank you for basically summing up my thoughts.

I think they should simply implement an option to hide all the aesthetic changes as an extra feature.
I would be happy to see the original look of many characters without having to reset them.

Anyway, since somebody asked I can tell you the changes of the SuperChargers I got so far:

- Fiesta stays exactly the same (haven't finished upgrading him though);
- Spitfire's fire becomes orange on the tornadoes path;
- Dive-Clops' armor changes (becoming similar to a mine) if the bottom path is choosen but I think his weapon changes even if you choose the other path and changes anyway after the Soul Gem is purchased;
- Stormblade's knives changes if the blades path is choosen (they become similar to supercharged Sky Slicer).
- High Volt's armor color scheme inverts after his third upgrade and his silver parts become golden.
YUCK.
His spear also changes after acquiring the third upper path upgrade and his shield loses the socket part when purchasing the Soul Gem and changes a bit.
I really loved his original look... Can't say the same now.
- Astroblast's second basic upgrade surrounds him with annoying electrons-like glowing orbs and his blaster upgrade sligtly changes its look, equipping it with a gunsight.

V.V. should really learn the meaning of "subtle".
