my theory is that we'll get the black friday wave 3 release we've always wanted, due to the roster being smaller. maybe they could just release the single figures and the racing pack around black friday and the combo, triple, and vehicle packs in january.

Some stores just kept Nightfall, because they probably think there's no need to send her back when they have to. She isn't officialy out there as well, some stores are just to proud of their stock. As for Astroblast... no idea, extremely lucky person.

I wouldn't call them extremely lucky. As long as there is one playable version of Astroblast out (Legendary Astroblast) to the general public, there's absolutely no reason to be jealous of another version since it adds absolutely nothing to the play experience other than a different color scheme to look at and an extra character on the collection screen. I suppose if one is shallow, it'd give bragging rights to be one of the first to own such a figure. It'll come stateside eventually...until then, try to be patient and happy with the Legendary versions of the same figures.

Im not jealous. I just say he's lucky that he found him. I could buy the Legendary pack in the moment I'm writing here, but I don't want Legendary Sun Runner nor two trophys. I just wonder how he got it, though we don't even know when it's coming out (pretty soon it seems).

That's actually a pretty good deal. Were you able to ask for characters like Splat, Big Bubble Pop Fizz etc.? Seems like they'll get the action pack will get its own seperate release and won't be included in Wave 3.

No splat just wave 1 and wave 2 and astroblast and sun runner. They let me choose a free character because of the wait it's going to be when they have new nightfall figures made

These figures are NOT out in Germany. The seller says so in his listing and I can confirm that. I suspect he got it from France but there is also a chance he got it from the support due to a broken Nightfall, too.

Why should people get special figures for being lucky enough to find a broken figure for sale? That hardly seems fair.

I have a Nightfall one but its faulty, well, in the sense I do not have a PS4 to play it. They have slipped through the occasional Target.

i dont have ps4 either call activision and send it back they will send you a new one when they are finished making the new ones and send you an extra figure for waiting

Actually, the boxes with the Legendary Astroblast and Sun Runner are labeled 2.5.

Please stop. They aren't going to ship a new Wave for Black Friday. We do this Every. Single. Year. Toys R Us ONCE did a new figure release on Black Friday, Legendary Stealth Elf, but that didn't correspond to a Wave, which came out on 12/23 that year. They don't need a new Wave to get people in the stores for the biggest shopping day of the year, people go for that anyways. Black Friday is about deals, not new stuff - and fighting crowds to get new stuff would be silly. Activision sucks on Skylanders shipping, but they aren't that dumb. Stores don't want new stuff the week of Black Friday, for the most part, they have enough to worry about already and practically everything new releases the week before or after.

Yes it was in the instructions they request just the figure nothing else

And if you send it back you get a figure of your choice AND a replacement nightfall?

Yes you have to call them set up a rma for it and they hopefully get an extra figure for waiting but idk when they will be done making new ones but when I called they were able to give an extra figure for waiting for night fall to come out
