Elemental Gates

Ok so I have completed the game, obtained all collectables (except "The Darkness Skystone"), have even won all the races I can till the upgrade packs come out but the Earth & Undead Elemental gates are from what I can gather after trying to complete for the past 5 hours are broken as you clearly don't have enough time to complete either mission.

Any suggestions, help, solutions or anyone else suffering this issue as well?

I didn't try the Earth one yet, but I think that on the undead mission you have to set the difficulty down to be able to kill anything in a reasonable amount of time. I'm pretty sure the enemies had way more health when I played on nightmare, but the times were clearly not meant to be done on nightmare.

I've done the following:

1) Fire - easy
2) Water - medium
3) Air - hard
4) Undead - hard
5) Life - medium
6) Dark - easy

The only ones I have to complete are Magic, Tech, Earth, and Light.
