Hey, I have a new game, but I don't think it fits in Fourm Games. There will be 26 of us, and I will make an alt account. I will choose one of the 26 users on the list, and give them the password via PM. the others will have to guess which user is posting. Whoever gets it right first, gets 5 points. Then the person who was the alt, will choose a new person. Simple?

I will post a test message on the alt.

What is it with you and alts? You know they are against the forum rules, and so is sharing account information.

Edit: In case that didn't sum it up, combining the two to make a game is not allowed either.

I had one for a giggle, and never talked about them again.

But it's not going to be an actual user, simply part of a game. It's nobody's account, and called an alt, because you have to find the alter-ego/user who is using it. Is that ok? It's more like a 2nd account.

Regardless whether it's a game or not, you're creating an alternate account which is against the rules and will almost certainly result in a suspension.

That's still not okay.

Someone sure used it in the end, so you also shared the password for that alt.

Again, no. Making alts and then sharing their passwords is not okay.

If I may make a suggestion, you could play a same sorta game without any alts at all. Just have people PM each other their lines and then have other users guess who's lines they are. Or have one user not participate in the game itself and simply act as the "game master", who posts all the lines in a similar manner. Then you just edit everybody's score in the first post.
It would work the same but no rules get broken.

actually alts arent exactly against the rules (hell many people have them, especially older users), the only be one person thing kindaaa forbids it but its pretty borderline as the rules dont go too in depth to it
idk mods choice

Only be one person
The use of multiple guest names and/or registered accounts to pretend to be more than one person is pointless and will likely confuse any other users of the forum. It is also generally frowned upon to have more than one registered account anyway but as there is no username change function you may register a new account provided you completely stop using your old one."

also mini modding isnt allowed oops

I agree.

Anything involving the use of alts/faking identity and password sharing isn't allowed, even in Forum Games.
